Claiming [Classic Level 3 ] with secret exit

My progress so far:



Skull rafts will be the main theme of the level.

Going to go ahead and snatch Reassembled Level 2.

Already started on it and this is how it is looking so far:



Going for a “Green Hill Zone” look in this level.
The screen shot doesn't show it but slopes exist in the level.
I'm also going to include waterfalls and trees.

I added a sublevel to my world 3 classic level:



It’s a slippery level.



Though you probably can’t tell I’ve actually changed the palette from the original (it used to be darker).

Besides giving the player an alternate path to the midway point; this sublevel also houses the secret exit.

Since this is a world 1 level it’ll be pretty simple, however there will still be plenty of secrets to discover.

I’ve added a small underwater sublevel to my checkered themed level.

It allows you to skip part of the main level and gives you some extra coins.


Also I sent out reminders to those level claimers who've been inactive for some time. If you want to keep your level make sure to post an update pretty soon!

Also, I would like to claim Classic Level 13 please? I wanted to make a Castle of some sort.

So... I was motivated enough to finish my level today!

(Check Page 12 for Level)

I deleted the ON/OFF part, because it was a bit unispired.
Instead of that, I sticked with the first part of the level and made a different secret exit.

I have a few Questions for the directors of this hack:

1- Which sublevel can I take to make a small secret exit part?
2- Is the secret exit too easy to find?
3- Are we still going to blend this level with the level from SilverSwallow?

The thing i need is time. In two weeks I am on summer vacation for 6 weeks so I should have the time to work on my level and hopefully finishing it ^-^

I'm sorry, but I'm dropping this level/hack.
I'm not motivated enough to do so, and I have no good ideas for a desert level. Besides, I have a contest going on.

Because I really like working here, I'm going to claim another level.

2. 16: [Reassembled Level 1].

Please tell me the theme you want me to use and I'll work really hard on it this week, because after then I'll be on Vacation for 4 weeks ;D.
Bad news is that i dont realy have time to work on the level that offten anymore.

The good news is that the level only need 2 things to be finished
The map 16 to be replaced in the level after moving it to the page i got.
Also i need a mid point to be placed.

Again i am busy but i will check in from time to time with updates as i make them.

Edit: besides needing to be tested.That also has to happen too

Cool, did you post the ips of your level somewhere, or send it to SilverSwallow?

1. You can take 1BA for your sublevel was that that the area that just holds the secret exit?

2. Can’t really tell by the screen shots I’d have to play it first.

3. I think we’ll go ahead and leave the level as is without SilverSwallow’s in there, unless you were planning on using it for the sublevel.

Usually we don’t allow another claim until previous level is finalized, but since you’re such a fast worker I’ll go ahead and let you claim [Reassembled Level 1].

The theme of world 1 is grass, forest and swamp. You can choose any three of those themes. Personally I’d like to see a swamp level since no one has done one yet in TCCR. However choose whichever one you’re most comfortable doing.

That’s okay just try to work on it when you get time and also know you can update by just telling us your level ideas and how progress is going. (Not every update has to show a screen shot, although we prefer it).

That’s understandable; a reassembled desert level is no easy task. We’ll drop your level, remember you can always come back and try a different themed level later if you get any good ideas.

Im posting this on my Ipod, so I can't send an IPS now, also I'm going to check if everything works out fine etc. I hope to send the IPS tomorrow on this topic.

5. 114 [Creative Level 12]

A one-exit level through...fast food land! Inspired by having a diet+seeing Earthworm Jims food level, I'm trying to create a level about fast food.

Ideas so far:
-oil is slippery
-buns of hamburger are bounce blocks
-you can eat certain blocks (yoshi munch sound and cookies or something)

The only thing I need would be appropriate graphics, as I know there isn't such a tileset. Of course I'm trying to approach ithe design first with cement blocks and the graphics can be added later
I made the final adjustments to the level, replaced some sprites and objects to make the level smoother to play.I also made a sublevel with the keyhole and key.

TCCR Level F

Ok, now that's sent, can I have a Map16 Page and a Sublevel for my next level?
It's going to be a swamp level with Forest BG and the original lvl 105 FG, but with a different palet, modified BG and Map16. I hope it's reassembled enough ;D, otherwise, if you have some ideas to make it more reassembled, I'd love to hear them.

EDIT: Ok, I've tested my level from this IPS and it came out well, I only forgot something, the time. The time is about 100 too low, so don't be scared if you hear the time running out.

Maybe you can work off of this? I would ask Volke permission to do so though, but again he has been inactive for a little over a week. Also his title does concern me a little that he may not be back soon.
