It's coming out to be awesome. There's the weirdness, originality, creativeness, and overall impact existent.


Keep up the consistency, and this hack will be a great artistic achievement in hacking. Stay strong.

I’ll go ahead and do another classic level. I’m going to claim Classic level 6.

I recently finished my classic castle level "Flooded Fort" so I'll go ahead and claim Reassembled Level 6.

No progress at the moment (just ideas).

I’ve started on the second section of my “Classic” style castle level.

It’s meant to be like an extension of room 4 from Bowser’s Castle in the original SMW.

Got some progress to show finally:



The sky has been polluted so the clouds have changed color.

The name of the level will be “Polluted Skyline”.

The 1st section is pretty much done and I’m about ready to start on the second part.

A quick update on “Polluted Skyline”:



Deeper in the level you’ll encounter darker non solid clouds that obscure the area. You’ll have to proceed with caution as the enemies that slowly fall from above and can be difficult to see.

Wauwie! That looks really nice SilverSwallow, I do not understand why noone is commenting to this, because this is idea is so unique and so nice executed, it deserves more positive feedback :(

After finishing my classic style castle level (calling it “Poisoned Dungeon”) I decided to try another creative style level.

Nice graphics! I wonder however, what kind of gimmick you are going to implent :P

On a related side note, I'm nearly finished with my fast food level: I need to claim a secondary exit and sublevel (I have no idea which one is free!) and furthermore, I succesfully implanted the vegetable graphics as substitutes for the fly and crab.

I also improved the overall quality of the stage thanks to Snifits advices. I guess i'm going to finish it today :)

Edit: Any suggestions for a level name about fast food?

Unfortunately I can’t come up with any good fast food names at the moment.

@Snifit, for your level, you are going to implement some enemy GFX changes, right? I think would be cool, a cursor as an enemy, letters walking around haha. Or, change the Lakitu into a typing cursor, and have it drop letters! Not sure what other graphical changes you could implement.

As I mentioned via PM your level is good but the Koopas clash a little with the food graphics. So I came up with this guy:





He’ll lose his bun when stomped on.

If you like him I'll insert him into the level myself when I insert your level into the base rom.

Otherwise they look pretty good, i would like it if they are going to be added.

Sure, that level will be the finale of World 6 so try to make it pretty challenging.

Alright when I get around to making the next base rom update (hopefully pretty soon) I’ll add him in.
