Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex-edit at $00EEB2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.Not logged in.

Why is this hot dog koopa so happy? TCCR finally got that much needed base rom update!

Just calculated our current progress (excludes bonus games) and we’re now at about 55% completion!

Only 24 of our planned 54 levels remain.

Things have slowed down tremendously since we first started but hopefully we will be able to get back on track to finally finishing this team hack.
I and the other leaders have been discussing ways to speed up the process and we will announce our plans shortly.

Maybe I'm taking a shot at one of the submaps:
Don't expect custom graphics, though :P I will make it with Vanilla Graphics and afterwards ExGFX can be added.

I think that's the best way to make it.

Honestly, I don't care so much, as long as the leaders (you included lol) don't drop this project^^ (especially at this point :) )
I would love to join, as I like designing castles and switch palaces.

But I'd rather do classic for castles, and maybe reassembled for switch palaces.

My speciality is Level Design. If you have any questions or ideas, just feel free to drop me a highlight on IRC (nick sleepy, Crankeh, or even MrMan) or just drop me a PM. I can also make some good Map16.

Going for a Ghostly, Grassy, Castle theme which takes place outside.

Oops sorry missed your post. We actually don’t plan to use switch palaces in hack at the moment, but you can still make one if you wish just don’t have actually have the pressable switch at the end.

You can for example have the level called “Ruby Switch Palace” and just end it with a goal sphere on top on a fake switch made of cement blocks.(you should include an explanation in the level for the player that states why the “switch” won’t work)

A good spot for a level like this would be level 101. A reassembled level in world 7. You can now take that level if you wish.

You can use it if you wish (it’s located at level 103 in base rom). I originally made it for qazcake but he seems to have disappeared.

Usually I wouldn’t allow a custom sprite in a reassembled level, but since it’s just a minor one and the fact that it’d be akward to use the original shooter sprite with those pipe canons I’ll make an exception.

I'm going to go ahead and drop my level, just to the sheer fact I have so much else to do and I haven't even touched it in months. No sense in not letting some one who can actually use it have it.
So... started working on it today. This level uses slow auto-scroll, but is very hectic, so you always have something to do.

I made the water act like lava. I'll add a message box.

E: Can I have a sublevel and a secondary entrance please? The second part will take place inside a ship, I'll probably use an altered version of the Sunken Ship BG SMW had.

The level is looking good so far, you actually have a left over sublevel claim from before Level 1B9.
So you can use that sublevel and secondary entrance #1B9.

Use autoscroll and rope conveyors.
While I haven't made any progress on the level itself,
I have made Exanimation to replace the conveyors:
