I still haven’t forgot about that beach tile set I just haven’t had much time lately to work on graphics.

I did however help set up your tank level.

The animation and conveyer belts are set up and working properly, I also gave the level a new palette and BG.

Here’s how it looks:



I also set up some (tile setup) examples to help get you started and loaded up a new sprite set (para-bombs, para-goombas, and bob-ombs) that I think would fit the level well.

All of the stuff is in this ips file:

Edit: Oh and forgot to mention I replaced the bullet bill GFX with animated shell GFX to add a nice RASM touch.

Oh, I'm so sorry, I totally forgot about this. The level hasn't been much progressed since my last post, but is around 70%. I'll show some more progress in an edit or a new post :)

I think it looks very nice. The only odd thing I notice is the little cutoff where the upper right of the fortress meets the wall.

I am curious though, what is with the red arrows in the first picture?

Great level so far! Those bullets really make the level challenging and the Yoshi coins are nicely placed. I also really like the BG palette in the second section; it looks nice and fits the level really well.

I found some problems but they’re all minor.



1. If you kill the mole above this object you’ll see it awkwardly go behind a line as it falls to its death. This happens at other parts of the level with different enemies too. You can easily fix this by changing map 16 tile 180A to not have layer priority.

2. This mole jumps straight up into the foreground then moves upward off screen.

3. The water is cutoff throughout the whole level, you forgot to place tile 1814 down there.

4. Might be a nitpick but I find it odd that a mole digs himself out of a rope.

5. This cannon sometimes won’t shoot at all, so you may want to try placing some other enemy here as well.

6.This bouncing koopa clones himself? Odd in Lunar Magic it doesn’t appear that you placed two in the same spot but this is how they appear every time.

7.These wooden objects look weird going into the water like that, I suggest bringing them all the way down as shown in my example picture.

The arrows are there because they should show how the water (animation) flows...

Hey! This is my first time viewing this progress thread, and I have to say that most of the hack is looking quite good so far. There's really just one thing I feel like I need to say:

If I were you, I MIGHT want to change the palettes on those logs. It's nothing major and they certainly don't look terrible, but it kind of looks like the palettes are inverted or something. This is just a suggestion, but if you can, change the palettes.

Then again, it doesn't make that much of a difference. Really it's up to you.

Yeah, the logs's palettes are inverted. I recommend changing it, it looks horrible like this .-.

Also there's something wrong with the water, it looks really weird like it is now.
In some screens the top tiles of it are missing, in other screens the animation is wrong .-.
Strange I don’t know how I didn’t notice that, thanks for pointing that out to me guys.

I went ahead and changed the palettes in both Oh Hell No's level and yoshiatom's level. Here’s how they look now:
