I just need the full level list of World 1 and the approval of Snifit/SilverSwallow/whatever to finish this 100%/send it.
This fixed map would be inserted to this hack. Is this hack got story anyway?

So once again (and hopefully the last time I do this), I'm taking another level in the collab, if you haven't noticed. This time I'm taking level 9 from the Aqua world, which is a Classic level.

This time, I want to get some suggestions from you guys on what sort of level to do. I'm usually not the best at figuring up ideas for a cave level of some sort. I already have an idea that'll work, but I want to have something that could be fun, while dealing with the limitations in my category.

Give me some suggestions and I'll see what I can come up with.

I was thinking primarily of a haunted cave of some sort, but of course, that seems to vague of a description. I want to add a main gimmick into the level that can make it distinct, as a general rule with a lot of levels, you have to have something unique to make it memorable.

Thanks guys. Let's hope we can get this project done soon. I'm glad to be back with it!

That looks good to me. Here is more detailed info on world 1 (number on left indicates the level number)

1: “Creamed Plains” (Classic) SilverSwallow (secret exit)

3: “Spinach Woods” (Classic) Snifit

17: “Checkered Zone” (RASM) SilverSwallow (secret exit)

16: “Squash Swamp” (RASM) Oh Hell No/ Fornaxus

10A: “Clover Hills” (Classic) SilverSwallow

105: Not yet started (will have secret exit)

I would like the first level to be “Creamed Plains” but the rest of the order is up to you. Just try to avoid two of the same level types in a row (example two “classic” levels back to back) Thanks.

I don't know what NMSTL is, so I guess not?

A while back Snifit made you a special ips file containing the base for your tank level:

Use Map16 page 11 if you have anything to add. You also have ExGFX 86 & 87 claimed.

Hmm the only idea I can think of right now is “Underwater Ghost house”. A level that has the feel of a classic SMW ghost house but is submerged in water.

Well I've re-started work on my tank level... and I'd like some input from you guys.
Thanks to amazing ability to be unproductive, I haven't done much so far other some ExAnimation and ExGFX (A couple of Ex'es, heh)
What I want input on is the ground animation, I want to know if I should add or remove frames to get the best "look" ingame.

Should this be a right time for saying this or not, I already made level 105 (sublevels: 66-67, map16: modified B and 1B, secondary exits 66 and 67). If you guys want the level please tell me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The level looks unchanged to me; did you make a mistake when making the level file? Next time if you could just make an ips patch of the level, it makes it easier for me to check quickly.

Also, I might do the ice overworld first.
I thought the level was good Erik557, it’s very fitting for a world 1 , easy but still fun. There are just a few problems I found.



1. This dino enemy falls down the gap and can’t get out which makes him very non threatening.

2. I’m guessing something you overlooked. Also I couldn’t find the key hole in this level, did you forget to place it? You probably meant to place it where Mario is standing (in screen 2) as there isn’t anything of interest there.

3. The only big problem with the level, the munchers are awkwardly placed and most of the time are unnecessary. I suggest removing some and placing others in a hole see my suggestion screen below.

4. Minor thing but you placed the half way point via map 16 meaning it’ll respawn when you reenter the area. Placing it from the extended objects menu will stop this from happening.

Here are some suggestions (via image) on how to improve the look of the level a bit:

Includes IPS, level files. IPS includes an important bugfix in the OW, so you might want to use it as base ROM.


Also, I started wondering about custom music. I gues it will be done when all the levels are finished?

2 questions... What sub-levels are left? What ExGFX slots are left? I plan to make my Creative Room for the final level, using my own custom graphics.

EDIT: Another question. What FG and BG Map16 slots are left?
