Yeah, I'm finished too. And I just can't believe I made a level in 4 days! It's incredible! I just must make levels for my hack with the same speed.
Now I'm taking my little time to make a little nice overworld submap. I would never let my level entry be sent without an overworld map.
Welp, half of the level done! I really hope my secret santee likes it, I've put a lot of effort into this, and I think it'll be my best level so far, or at least one of the best. I made everything look appealing, so yeah.
Finished and sent off my level last night. Not sure how much I adhered to the theme, really, but hopefully it's something my recipient likes.
[Didn't actually add any custom music, but I guess that's okay, given that the theme didn't explicitly ask for something like that.]
I'm honestly not sure what the one who requested the idea I got will think of my level. I did get a moderately difficult request, but I think I probably did okay. My level is finished. Hope I didn't rush it.
I have some bad news for whoever's level I was working on. It got corrupted, and I didn't have a backup. I doubt that I have enough time to make a substitute, since it is due in about a day. I'm really sorry about this. This is why I should make backups...
Unless you are using a version of LM from the ROM-hacking stone age (why would you do that?), or explicitly disabled the auto restore point feature (why would you do that!?), you can simply recover most, or even all of your work via the file -> restore menu. You're welcome!
Of course, this would not recover or produce work that has not even been done in the first place, so for those of you lazy Santas out there that were hoping for a quick Christmas miracle of a different sort, you're outta luck bub!
In other news, my own project is about done. I should be able to finish it pretty comfortably over the rest of the evening. It's not quite what I hoped, but it's been an interesting endeavor nonetheless, and I do hope the recipient will find it to their liking.

Done about 9 screens now, just need to extend it a bit, and add some decoration. I have to admit though... I'm not very happy with how it's
turned out. Like many people, I can only design good levels at my own pace, which is ridiculously slow.
But I hope my Secret Santee is happy, anyway.
Even though I can't put more time into this, it still is playable.
I'm getting there myself. Technically I'm only about halfway, but what I've got planned should make the second half finish-able in very little time. Of course I wanted it done a lot earlier, but thanks to circumstances beyond my control this week has been busier than intended. Hopefully my work won't feel rushed, but it has been fun to work on a level again for the first time in a while.
