Hi! This is a thread I decided to start since it seems I may ACTUALLY finish this hack. Hooray for me. Anyway, here's all the videos.

Level 1 and 2

Level five is done, but I'm yet to make a video for it. I'd like feedback, ideas for a hack name, and Ideas for level names.

Finally, a thread, took you long enough
You know my feedback on the levels already. Considering the level names, I like "green machine". It rhymes, which is what you were going for I'm assuming. Some other level name ideas:
Red and Blue level:
- Red Blue Corkscrew
- Red Blue Construe
- Red Blue Breakthrough
- Blue Red Tread
Brown level:
- Brown Rundown
- Brown Showdown
- Brown Countdown
White level:
- White Castle (I got nothin, especially since the level has yellow in it)

Yeah, a lot of these names suck but it's actually hard to think of good ones. Maybe someone else can help out. Also, I think the hack name should have something to do with colors, rainbows, etc. Anyways, the hack's coming along great and keep up the good work!

OH HECK NO!

I mean, I guess, if you want it...
They make it seem too boring to me. I replaced them with the vanilla gfx (with square corners, of course).

EDIT: OKAY! There are 6 levels in total! Just gotta add the music and this should be released!

Should I make a boss level? I won't be using any sort of custom bosses or asm, though.

Not bad. I like how each room has its own palette theme.
I found a glitch in the tutorial level. The custom teleporting block sometimes teleports me to the endless bonus game. I wonder if it's right on a screen boundary.


Amazingly this jump is not as difficult as it looks, even though Mario goes over the top of the screen.

I'm not sure how I like the original SMW background with the cartoony foreground.

Also, that block takes you to the screen exit YOU are on, not the block. This, however, is fixed.

With some of the breaks that are being found, I needed to make some slight alterations to the levels. None so far that should actually effect much gameplay, but some.

EDIT: Also, I need an idea for a boss. Should I just use a custom big boo boss battle, or something else entirely?

You could make a springboard and shells esque big boo (hopping around on the eerie), with more than 1 screen? Could stick in some invisible blocks (outlined ones), could even make boo fire stuff at you. Maybe several stages of boo, to catch out the people expecting it to be simple? Just my input.
I may try some sort of a puzzle-ish big boo. I 'unno.

Also, pretty good progress on the last level, but I'm drawing some blanks when I try to continue :/.
