Finally returning to this awesome hobby!
I'm so sorry I didn't get my review in sooner. To be quite honest, I completely forgot about this. =/

My Level was done by marioVSshadow. The theme was a dark forest themed level.

The level started out a bit different than I expected, but it was not bad. From the very beginning, the level was very non-linear, which is a plus. Ironically, the first song used in his level is also one I used in mine, haha. Both the music and graphics were nice and fitting. I especially liked the music choices.

The puzzle at the beginning was nice and not that hard to solve, and the scrolling area that followed was pretty cool as well (even if a bit annoying). I can't deny that the first pipe was annoying as hell to get through with big mario, though.

A note on the level design: I feel like the level was a bit too spread out. It's like there wasn't enough going on in it. Some parts were pretty clever, but others seemed like they were just there. Overall I enjoyed it, but it did have its faults.

My favorite part was by far the Big Boo Boss battle. It wasn't really the layout of the battle itself that impressed me, but rather the atmosphere around the fight.

The plot was a bit weird, and the OW was rather bland, but neither of them were the main point of the contest, so I can ignore those minor details. Some parts of the level were annoying, but overall it was a decent level. marioVSshadow definitely deserves a badge for it.

7.5/10

My Custom Super Mario World Levels

You are all lucky, guys. notgoodwithusernames didn't even gave a word in the last time. >_<
The person who made my level is KevKot, and even though the level felt average, I still thing he still deserves a badge.

The things that I like about the level is that even though the level was hard, it's not so hard to the point where you want to just throw your computer out of the window. Also, the orange coin that ends up leading to a fake goal made me chuckle a little.

However, the one thing that I dislike about the level is that the level felt repetitive. More so in the beginning of the level then at the end. Also, I did felt you went a little overboard with the Rip Van fish and I kind of wish you use more water enemies.

Overall, the level idea that I requested is a extremely hard auto scrolling water level, and honestly that is all I can asked for.

Haha, thanks! I usually am not making kind of these levels, so it was the first time I designed a auto-scroll water level, and yeah, I felt very unmotivated in the beginning. ;)

E: Look at my rank xD
Well, although my real secret santa didn't make me a level. Sockbat Replica did, and I really enjoyed it. Although a couple of jumps were a bit hard, I had a lot of fun overall, and replayed the level at least twice. For what its worth, he deserves a badge.

Eh, sure. Why not? Kaizo hacking doesn't seem too ha-aaaaaaand I broke the ROM.
Closing for now. I will make a news post when I have an update on the badges. Thanks to everyone who finished their levels and reviews!
