ADSR stands for Attack Decay Sustain and Release.
The $ED command:

Decay = How long it takes to reach Sustain; Though - to my knowledge - it'll not always listen depending on your Sustain value.
Sustain = The height from the top to this of the envelope.
Release = How long it'll take the envelope reach from Sustain to 0.

The $ED command must be in this order:
$ED $(2)*(1) $(3)(4)

For (3) and (4) you've to do this: (3)x10+(4)
So if I have the values 5 and 1A I'll do:
5x2=A(0)+1A=BA
or
3x2=6(0)+9=69
But that'll be easy 'cause you can use a calculator for it #w{=)}.

A nice Electric piano sounding ADSR:
$ED $1F $50

*2 may NOT exceed 7!!! This is because AM4.05 uses $ED $80+ for other commands!

It's just you since ADSR requires the "N-SPC" patch as you call it...

Just one question, Does the Legacy ports really have to be that big, can we use separated files you know like one with only sound tracks, one with only one song and the ones with samples?

Sorry if this counts as a bump but its only like 10 days old.

(rip my other userbars momentarily)

The file really isn't that big. Even with my crappy DSL I was still able to download it within a couple of minutes. It didn't take me long to go through all of the ports either.

Yeah, but most of the files in the legacy zip are just text. No SPCs.
Well, the only SPCs I found were the SMAS ones.
Nothing worth looking at here.
No they all have SPCs. At least in mine.

Really unnecessary to go through every single zip folder and separate the bnks, txts and spcs and we're definitely not linking to each one individually. They're all right there, just download them.
I think a post layout goes here somewhere...
Most of the legacy stuff doesn't actually have echo. Why was it all removed then?
Let's milk Sunny Milk. Then she'll have enough money to fund Sunny Milk Real Estate.
Everypony's digging with a shovel
They were removed for a couple reasons...

Requested removal
Echo overflow
Bad quality

We went through literally every port and we either fixed/accepted or removed, we weren't being trigger happy and removing ports simply because we felt like it.

Some sucked and had only been accepted because music was new back then.

In any case, here's a recompressed version. Extract it with 7-Zip, note it'll go from 2 MB to 60 MB.

Hey everyone, the Music Section Staff is happy to announce that the Re-moderation Project was finished successfully! We went through every single port on SMWC and compressed the information so it's much easier to navigate.

There's a new tag system now, so you can isolate music by their theme. We also fixed issues with all of the ports that made it into the new Music Section, so now all of the hosted songs should be compatible with AddMusic405 or AddMusicM.

But Crispy, what happened to the rest of the songs that used to be on the site?
^We put all of those "legacy ports" in one giant .zip, and you can get them all here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28007574/SPC/Mod/Legacy.zip
Hadron's removals: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9203142/legacy.zip

Well, I think that's all there is to say. I hope you all like the new music section, and Happy New Year!

You can do another, this link doesn't work
Your layout has been removed.
You can find them here now thanks to xfix. Bumping this ancient thread was quite unnecessary, though.
