Welcome to the riddle thread where you must figure out who YOU are after reading clues pertaining to who I am and what relationship I have with the answer. Co-hosting with me is PokefreakofBACON. We will be alternating riddles. Each riddle will stay up for a maximum of three days, less if solved. Hints are unavailable at this time. This first post will always have the current riddle, previous riddles (with answers), and the scoreboard. Each new riddle posted will have the new riddle and the updated scoreboard. Not in the sun though, what a bummer. (Referring to both stars are generally not present in the sun, as well as the fact that there are no Stars to be collected in the Sunshine game of mario.)

Note that you do not need to give a reasoning for EACH line of the riddle; only one or two can suffice.

From comments received from a few people, let me clear something up.
The "eggs" noted do NOT mean there are eggs LITERALLY in the game; it means that a collectable either has an egg-like shape, or can be mistaken for an egg.
Also, each and every line can be analyzed as a hint to the answer; none of the words are unimportant. Words just for the sake of rhyming are not in the riddle.

Heh. As I was reading, I was like "Oh no, did I coincidentially make the riddle apply to more than one game?" because I really dislike when that happens. But luckily you got stuck on the last line, and ONE of the lines you have overlooked a small bit of information. Nice try, but no cigar.

Hint: These "eggs" are called "orbs".

Obvious Tetris reference, so I'd guess we're two of the seven pieces.
I'd guess you're one of the squiggly ones (▀█▄ or ▄█▀, impossible to know which), since they're usually considered the most annoying.
The most useful one is generally considered the line piece (▄▄▄▄), so I'd guess I'm that one.

...actually, scratch that, I think I misunderstood something. I'd guess boss means it can nuke four lines, so you're █▄▄ or ▄▄▄▄ (I guess the latter, since TASers usually ignore the rules of the games), and I'd say ▄█▄ is the most versitale one, so I'm probably that one.

I'm █▄▄ and you're ▄▄▄▄. Yes, I chose a different one just in case Alcaro is wrong. And because I think █▄▄ is more useful than ▄█▄.

Wow, many good guesses, glad the second hint made it more obvious that the game was tetris. However: Artemiscat, the answer refers to blocks, rather than the gods dropping the blocks.
