Well, I finished Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. That final boss battle was rather interesting, though I would say the one from Bowser's Inside Story was more unique. I accidentally had the wrong gear equipped (my really powerful stuff was supposed to be split about evenly between the bros.; instead, Mario got most of it because I forgot to switch back after leaving the Dream World), but it worked out okay. I even completely flubbed a few attacks (Mario's last special attack in particular), but I didn't get a Game Over either on the final boss or the penultimate one (which, as nasty as its attacks were, ended up being easier than I had expected). I spent a lot of time in both battles just spamming my strongest special attacks. My clear time was around 45:30. I think Dream Team is the best game in the series. The graphics are great, the music is great, and the battle mechanics are pretty fun (aside from the BLEEPING GIANT BATTLES!!!). I really hope they make a Mario & Luigi RPG 5 down the road. I also hope the Wii U gets at least one Mario RPG, though it would unfortunately most likely be Paper Mario, and I never have cared much for Paper Mario. (Super Mario RPG 2? Nintendo? Please?) I still have at least 6 games in my backlog (not counting the NSMBW hacks), though, so...time to get playing!
I've been playing DKC2 since today, to revive the old times, and I am 23% done with it so far. I also got 25 Klemcoins so far woohoo. The only stage that is giving me a lot of trouble is "Slime Climb". Man, that stage. If the rising water wasn't enough, there is also a
Snapjaw clamping its jaws at me
to make easier sections look harder, even on the climbing section. I can easily beat some sections by getting one of the Kongs to climb in my back and then throw it, but oh man.

I haven't played DKC3 yet, but I'll probably do it during my way to victory of DKC2, even with foes trying to block my way.

I hated that stage. IIRC it was one of the last stages I got all the Kremcoins on. This may also be where the game starts to pick up in difficulty. I think this game has easier levels, harder bosses, while the first game has harder levels, easier bosses. I don't mean harder than DKC2. I mean harder than the boss stages.
I don't think the difficulty of any of the stages could compare to the Squawks part of Animal Antics (except maybe the
first
final boss fight.)

Ugh... I had absolutely nothing to do last night and decided to go through the arcade in Spiral Knights alone.

The update brought changed something that I'm very glad with, and that's reviving is now an item rather than spending Crystal Energy. The reason is with the old system each revive cost double the amount you paid last time, now it's always one spark of life every time. That helped a lot when i got up against the boss at the end. I got 34 sparks of life for free, and i ran through all of them within that boss fight alone. I got to say, the game got really exciting when i got to the last few floors.
I've been dabbling with the Edit Mode in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F for a couple hours before and it's really cool; provided you have the correct BPM so that the notes don't go out of sync. I'm trying to make an Extreme version of ↑人生ゲーム↓ (Game of Life) and got the first 20 seconds down, with 111 notes to boot. Hopefully the BPM stays the same throughout the whole song, took me a while to figure out how to get it down properly. I hope I can actually finish this, it definitely takes a lot of time and that's only placing all the notes. Then you still have (optional) the movements, lyrics and all the other goodies if you want to make it as professional as possible.
Still having fun with Fire Emblem Awakening. I started a new file on Hard mode after finishing Normal, and I must say I really like the improved AI for the enemy armies; instead of most units just kind of sitting there waiting until I get in range, I've had them attempt to catch me in a pincer formation with reinforcements coming up behind me a couple of times. And the fact that reinforcements actually move on the turn they appear means you actually need to be careful with placing weaker units around forts.

On my original file, I've finally given in and started getting the DLC. I just pulled off the most spectacular rescue of Yarne in Future Past 2; the last wave of reinforcements spawned in such a way that they perfectly blocked off a falcon knight that would have been able to kill him in one round, so I had to literally cut a path through the middle of them so that my last unit could snipe it. I can't wait to see what these maps look like on Hard mode, when I presumably can't just put all my units in the middle of the enemy army and have them murder everything while dodging all incoming attacks.

Also after a brief stint as a Mercenary my 52-luck Owain now has Armsthrift (2*luck % chance of not using up weapon durability when attacking), which means I can finally have him use his beloved Mystletainn without ever having to worry about it breaking. :V

Rayman Legends. That is all.

I'm having so much fun with this game and my Wii U is too as it gets to be played with again...

Also playing PMD Explorers Of Sky trying to get a good combo of starters.... Riolu and someone else is what I need XD
Anyone here play Dota 2? :D
With regards to the Atelier series:

-Does anyone have maps of all the game worlds?

-Is it just me or was the Iris trilogy not released in PAL territories at all, which is despite the AI3 having AU and EU release dates listed in its Wikipedia article, clearly defined PAL boxart and a review by Hyper, which is an Australian magazine. 17 pages into a Google search and all I found was North American copies and downloads for the soundtrack and ISO... I swear, there are more downloads for the AI3 ISO than there are fanart images of it on Pixiv, and that's kind of sad...

EDIT: I think my brother found a copy here in Australia, but we're not too sure.

So the latest game I got was Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. I played through it twice, and I beat it. I like the soundtrack and the plot and such, and I became obsessed with the "L33t Hamm3r Broz." Any suggestions I should get?

INB4 Bowser's Inside Story. I WAS gonna get that, but my parents gave up on doing so, because the game didn't work. We did this twice and they both didn't work and so my parents gave up on getting me BiS.

I'm planning on getting DK: Jungle Climber, since I think that game looks pretty cool. However, i'm not sure if I really have to use my L and R buttons to do certain things, since my Nintendo DS's L and R keys are sort of broken. They still work, but it's hard to make them work again.

Any other Wii/DS/older games I should get? (And don't even think about saying "Get a 3DS". Not even "Get a 2DS".)

I think you missed the point of the whole thread. You really need to read the rules first before doing things.

Get a Wii U.

*runs*

Anyway...Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is also on the DS, and it plays a lot like Partners in Time, with some new additions. You could get that if you don't have it already. And Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga was the first one in the series and on the GBA, so it could be played on a DS (either the original or Lite model, but not the DSi). There is a fourth one, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, but that's a 3DS game.

As for other DS games...well, I thought Super Princess Peach was pretty fun, as well as Mega Man ZX (though you might find that too difficult). And, of course, the New Super Mario Bros. games on both the DS and the Wii. If you like RPGs, the DS apparently has quite a few of them. None as good as the Mario RPGs, maybe, but I at least have Dragon Quest 9 (okay game, but a bit on the dull side) and Radiant Historia. There are a bunch of ports of older games, too, such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 3. The only RPGs on the Wii I took much notice of were Arc Rise Fantasia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (a sequel to a GameCube and PS2 game). I own neither of those, though I would like to get them.

Also, if you don't have Donkey Kong Country Returns, get it. It's an excellent game. On the difficult side for sure, but for the most part, it's a fun kind of challenge. (Though a few levels that I could name are notable exceptions to that...) Rayman Origins is also pretty decent. And if you like Mega Man games, Mega Man 9 and 10 were available on all three seventh-generation consoles (Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360), so you could try those. MM10 even has a difficulty select.
