how do you not get kumatora ?_?

i can't imagine beating the barrier trio without kumatora. before i realized
spamming defense down
was the best way to deal with them i actually spent 2 hours grinding for psi shield Ω, lol

Also, I don't know why people have problems against
Fassad (both battles)
, it's very easy to beat.

New/Miracle Fassad ate the Luxury Banana!

every other turn

that's the sole reason why it's such a pain. you'll no doubt be spamming your most powerful attacks to keep up with the damage he keeps healing, especially with
miracle fassad
, and you'll quickly run out of pp from spamming pk love Ω and pk starstorm in the latter's case. at least that was my experience, who knows maybe there's a strategy to it i didn't figure out!

Kumatora OP. Is the volcano before or after you throw Fassad off the tower? And when is the time you go through the attic to rescue the (bald?) guy? And Kumatora? I need to play that game again sometime.

both battles come after you throw him off the tower - you don't start pulling the needles until chapter 7, thunder tower is in chapter 5. the attic dungeon is in chapter 4, and i'm sure we've all heard enough things about the jealous bass
Basically
you can do chapter 7 in whatever the fuck order you want
. In at least one of my replays I've encountered that same problem and FUCK
barrier trio
. It's hell without Kumatora.

To be honest I really sucked when I was little at this game, which is why I also had a horrible time with
barrier trio and miracle fassad and nk cyborg
. Not too long ago I simply remembered I have more PSI than just offensive and they're actually useful lol.
Basically Shield/Counter Ω, Defense Up, Offense Down/Scary Mask, Defense Down/Tickle Stick. In that order unless you don't have the PSI ability yet (so starting with scary mask and tickle stick). After doing that you can be sure you'll wreck the shit out of any boss ever.

I recently started investing some time in Treasure Hunter G and its a very fun RPG. Its really sad that it just became one of the many games that never got US releases.

Right now I'm just collecting frogs so I can buy armor. Its kind of annoying but I can't really proceed in the game otherwise.

Also fun fact. More RPG's by Square for the SNES were not released in America than games that were.

USA:
-Final Fantasy IV
-Final Fantasy VI
-Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
-Chrono Trigger
-Secret of Mana

JP:
-Final Fantasy V
-Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2)
-Romancing SaGa
-Romancing SaGa 2
-Romancing SaGa 3
-Rudra no Hihou
-Treasure Hunter G

Does Radical Dreamers count as an RPG? If so that makes eight.

-Romancing SaGa 2
-Live-A-Live
-Front Mission
-Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2)
-Romancing SaGa 3
-DynamiTracer (ngl i have no idea what this falls under despite playing it (Adventure?) but it uses Chrono's engine so)
-Bahamut Lagoon
-Rudra no Hihou
-Treasure Hunter G

You forgot some : )

Radical Dreamers is a VN, so no.

Also I beat Dragon Quest 1 NES and now I'm playing Dragon Quest 2 NES (grinding and getting better armor for the Prince of Cannock/Sumaltria).

night in the woods is really awesome, just beat it tonight. it's like the alternate life i never had. gregg is my spirit animal.

play it. it's by alec holowka of aquaria fame in-part so you know it's going to be great. can't get the title music out of my head either.
snn you're like the fiftieth person i've seen with a "got cups on my ears." av

congratulations, you goddamn furry

I have a friend who's obsessed with Night in the Woods. I may or may not play it, it looks like a good game.
I've also really been enjoying Night in the Woods. The writing is just top-notch and the characters are all extremely interesting and likeable. The music is awesome too. The only bad thing is that even though it's not really short, I still wish it was like, double the length it is. If there's ever a prequel or sequel or spinoff or whatever you can bet that I'll be all over that.

I do need to replay it to do Gregg's events though, since I hung out with Bea all the time on my first playthrough.
So today I played Parodius Da! for the first time in roughly eight or nine years. For those not familiar with the game, its a game made by Konami that parodies their Gradius franchise (hence the name) by making characters from their other franchises (such as Twinbee) playable characters and having the levels be whacky and nonsensical.

Seriously, its a weird ass game. In one level, you have to fly under the legs of some Marti Gras dancer or something, which is followed by a boss fight with a bald Eagle. Its fun, but I forgot how much I suck at shmups nowadays (back when I was like seven I was really good at those games).

This boss actually made my parents forbay me from playing the game. I mean I was seven so it made sense.
I've had one of the coolest Pokemon experiences ever today.

You know, it's not my best weekend right now and I'm still salty and frustrated over not getting the Switch I had preordered. Anyways, I decided to instead keep working on my Pokedex in Pokemon X, which I've been working on for weeks now. Generally speaking, I already have a complete Pokedex in that game, but I evolved many of the Pokemon on the way, so of course there are a lot of missing evolution stages for certain Pokemon, and I literally wanted to have ALL of them (so that I can keep them in Pokemon Bank and use them whenever needed). So anyways, one of the Pokemon lines that was still missing its first evolution stage was Mudkip, so I went ahead, put it in a daycare with a Ditto and received an egg. I went to hatch that egg and then, just like that, bam, shiny Mudkip. It was quite amazing. Funny how, when you don't look for them, cool shiny Pokemon sometimes just randomly appear in front of you. At least one pretty cool thing that happened to me this weekend!
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago in s/m, I had to hatch a wingull for the competition I entered, and I just happened to get a shiny one. Normally I would have felt it was a waste, but they beefed up the hell out of pelliper by giving him drizzle, and now I have a green pelliper.
After FE5 making me extremely pissed, I decided to pick up Der Langrisser again. Such a fun game. It's a shame that the Langrisser series has all of like 4 games playable in English in some form...

Well, I have been quite interested in the Ys series as of late (blame Decoy and a few other peeps to somewhat introducing me to it), and I was thinking of either emulating or buying one of the many versions of Ys 1 & 2. The question here, though, would be: which version should I play? I was thinking of getting Ys 1 & 2 Chronicles+ on Steam, but I'm not really sure if I should or not, since I just cant buy stuff without my parents's approval, and they just take SO long to buy stuff that I rather emulate the damn thing and play it that way, and I'm also not surec if it IS worth it or not. So, yeah...

Steam or TurboGrafx-CD are the best, yeah

Well, I have made it into the final stretch of Fire Emblem Thracia 776, at Chapter 23 of 25(?) so I'm almost done. Can't wait! This game has been such a rollercoaster of fun and wanting to punch things really hard.

like who cares about swords or magic when you can just double punch everything into oblivion, heal yourself for free and jump up mountains

Lately I've fallen down the Civ5 hole hard. Been rolling with Denmark, playing the big bad vikings and burning every other civilization down with boats. Haven't heard much about Civ6, but I tend to put games like these on the backburner for a few years before trying them, so I guess I'll fall into that pit soon enough.
Follow me on Hermitscape for random bits of game design talk and pixel art, or even request something for me to draw.

Or if you play Warcraft, you can also:
Teleport back and forth for free
Fly!! for free
Run at the speed of light (for free too)
Invoke a giant Tiger, Crane, Ox and/or Cloud Serpent
Cast lightning at someone's head
Invoke a statue that heals you (for free) if you're not in the mood for healing yourself for free
Launch yourself as missile towards a target of your choice (free)
Create a circle around you that breaks people's weapons for a while
Throw barrels of beer at people

And people still say they aren't overpowered. I wont even mention Diablo monks.

Mindlessly streaming Cookie Clicker at the time of this post for whatever reason :/

I don't really know what games to look forward to. I guess I would like to play some Mario Maker. Don't own a Wii U or the game though.

(P.S. FuSoYa: add Mario Maker mechanics into Lunar Magic. An internal emulator working with shadows of mario in the editor, easy ground placement, etc.)
