if you have beaten this game before then maybe you'll find this page about the game's "lore" interesting: TVTropes has Theory

good night everyone

I completed Dragon Quest XI yesterday. I think overall, the game was amazing. I liked it so much more than I could have ever expected. I mostly have just a few minor and one major complaint. Pretty much everything I've mentioned in my demo post is still true for the full version. However, unlike the demo, the full version contains the full story with a lot of moments that I was quite emotionally invested in. Really, it's been quite a while since I've played an RPG that had such an emotional impact on me. This alone overshadows all of the complaints I have. Like, they're there, but they weren't nearly enough to harm the overall experience.

I only completed the 3D version of the game. I gave the 2D version a try just once and it took only a few seconds to realise that it was pretty much the classic Dragon Quest experience that I don't like very much. Nice for people who are into it, but it's a way too frustrating experience for me to be enjoyable. I'm glad that the 3D version did introduce the few changes that it did. They were what made the game enjoyable for me in the first place.

Luckily, it seems like there's still a bit of post-game content, so I might still be playing the game for a while.

Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!

My first impression of this game went above and beyond expectations, and that's saying a lot. I'd say I have a new absolute favorite Mario game.

Still have this impression even now. Seems like it's more about exploration and creativity than about being challenging. Not nearly as difficult as Super Mario Sunshine (tho there is at least one bonus area that plays just like one of the FLUDD-less platform levels). If you thought there was an insane amount to do and was easy to get sidetracked before the final boss, that's nothing compared to the post-game.
That one track that plays during the
moon escape while playing as Bowser
sounds like something that could have come from The World Ends with You, and the dragon boss is probably the most un-Mario looking thing in the whole game.

Legacy custom music

How am I so creative? I think taking walks might have something to do with it.
Every single level I will ever make in SMM2 will be easier than Ultra Necrozma.
