A good few of my friends are otaku. Probably has to do with the people I hang out with nowadays!
Have Any Otaku Friends?

Well, basicly all my friends. (That I actualy hang out with of course)
I myself am according to many people the biggest Otaku they've physically met.
However I myself don't really have any other Otaku friends. Most are more wannabes or people that watch Anime like every 7th full moon on the 3rd of december every 5 years.
But yeah, ask around and you'll probably hear that I take my hobby too serious XD
Other people I regard as teeny-tiny otaku peeps as online friends though are Sniggerb0bble and Aqualakitu.

Depends on the definition of "otaku" I guess. I've always seen it as a negative thing, despite people treating it otherwise (isn't it actually somewhat of an insult in japan?). I wouldn't consider myself one, although I'm not sure if I can say I'm casual about it either. Either way, I have one friend who casually watches some anime when he gets recommended it. My other friend I haven't spoke to much lately has watched some but I know his sister probably watches it (she's a stereotypical kingdom hearts fan). Another girl I know has recently discovered anime and is going through that otaku phase (though she doesn't sound obsessive to me).
I've realized this was outdated.
