Originally posted by GbreezeSunsetAlso, some ideas are: lag manipulation, corner boosting, sprite stun glitch, and some item swap stuff.
I was thinking that stuff like lag manipulation and corner boosting would go into a big tutorial video which covers basic tricks and tips for TAS'ing, such as 37/49 hop, 1/1 swimming, etc. I've still haven't gotten the hang of the stun glitch and item swap, so no tutorial would be made until I've actually learned more about them =P

Oh cool! Could you maybe do a block cloning from a distance tutorial? I always randomly throw it till I get it, I have no idea how it works.
It would really save some time in my ia2 tas...
I would also always tried but never I was lucky!!like to see a tutorial to learn =3
I'm planning on it, but I would have to make a few tutorials first, such as the basics to SMW TAS'ing, like RAM Watching, using SMWUtilities, and stuff like that before we go in depth to actual topics.
Originally posted by GbreezeSunsetOriginally posted by ShadowDragon121It took me what seemed like forever, but I finally figured out Item Swap on my own! Nathan's videos helped though, like getting yoshi's glitched graphics when sticking his tongue out and getting a powerup at the same time. I although do not fully understand creating your own items, like shown in kaizoman's tas of getting the secret exit in funky. I do know how to create your own keyhole but how did he spawn the enemy for it?
I think he has a tutorial on the video.. But it's stun glitch. I think.
He did have a tutorial on item swap, but he might have removed it I don't remember. There wasn't a clear tutorial on stun glitch, but I may be wrong.
Originally posted by ShadowDragon121Oh and ya, you can also give a tutorial on duplicating a turn block on the ground. I already know how to do it but it might be good info to know for "beginner duplicators"
I'll probably post anything related to block-duplications into one tutorial, just to make it more organized.
Also note: I probably won't make any tutorial videos this week, since I have other stuff to do, and I also plan to finish a few more LP videos before I work on the tutorial videos (I also plan to TAS one or two hacks in the mean time as well). I'll get a better chance to work on stuff during spring break.
