I have 3 questions.

Question 1. How do you upload pictures for a hack? Put them on a website then add the link?
Question 2. How do you upload a hack? Website then link?
Question 3. I made a texture for a custom block, but how do I apply it?
I am taking hacks for testing. I do not currently do kaizo hacks or other very difficult hacks. If you send me a difficult hack I will try it, but I probably will not finish it. My youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Omen267901
1. File Bin
2. File Bin!
3. You insert it as ExGFX.
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
1. for works in progress, My Files in the sidebar, Upload Files. Don't use the file bin.
2. upload a hack: Hacks in sidebar, Submit Hack, and you can upload screenshots there. You need to make a IPS because of Copywrong anti-information rules in this site: in LM, File, Restore, Create IPS
3:
If you want the GFX to replace an original block, put it in the GFX file.
If you want the GFX to replace the original block for just some of the levels, copy a GFX file into an ExGFX file and paste in the gfx where it belongs, and Super GFX Bypass it instead of the original file.
If you want more GFX in addition to the original game, put it in a new file and Super GFX Bypass it as BG2 or BG3.
Any way, go into the 8x8 editor and see which tile numbers the new GFX is on. Go to Map16 editor and put in the numbers in the tile used for the block. Change the palette(s) to the intended ones.

Or if you're using a premade GFX set, tell me which one and what you're using.

It's automatic!

To upload your screenshots, you can upload it by using the "My Files" gimmick or you can use the dropbox to upload images.

By the way if you want to post your screenshots, click on the image icon or you can use the IMG tag, copy the address and then close the tag.
I have no Idea how to use ExGFX. I made an arrow texture in paint.net.

These two tutorials can help you:

http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=viewthread&t=4265

Also, use YY-CHR to edit and create graphics, they're located in tools section.
You can't use Paint images for SMW. You may use YY-CHR for make them. And here is a tutorial about how to use it.

Read this one about insert ExGFX btw.

E: Ninja'd but my post can be useful yet.

Also, I forgot to say, extract the palette by clicking on the Rainbow Star and then a dialog will pop up, make sure to click on the Rainbow Star with the green arrow, you'll extract the palette and you can use it with the YY-CHR.
I have a new question!
1. I uploaded the files, but how do I actually put them on the thread?

In the thread? Are you meaning the ExGFX files, then you put them in ExGraphics folder and GFX in Graphics folder.

To put the image on the thread, press "CTRL+M" and then copy paste the address where you image is located.

There's one problem. When I extract the GFX from ROM, I don't get an AllGraphics.bin, And I have no idea how to find ZSNES savestates.

Well, if you want to extract everything to one single GFX (AllGFX.bin), click on Options -> Use joined GFX Files and then extract again, now the AllGFX.bin will appear, it won't work with ExGFX.

Also, ZSNES save state files can be found the same folder along with the ROM.
You don't use allgfx.

Actually, I like AllGFX because I don't have to set it to different BPPs that wind up not letting me use right palettes well. AllGFX only has to use 4bpp SNES. Just check off "Use Joined GFX Files" in the Options menu in LM, then extract. You should then get AllGFX. It contains all the graphics in one convenient file

I don't have a folder for the rom.

You have.

Okay, in other words, the GFX/ExGFX folders will be IN THE SAME FOLDER that your ROM is.

Probably you deleted the ROM or the folder containing the ROM and the (Ex)GFX folders. Make backups if you make any changes in your ROM and then save them in a folder you can easily recover if anything goes wrong.
