Tip: Avoid "item babysitting". Do not force the player to drag P-Switches or springboards all around the level. This is not fun, nor does it make for interesting "puzzles".Not logged in.

This is a level that I have made in SMBX which takes place in a city area. There is no story. I don't have much else to say other than ENJOY! #w{=)}

V1 DOWNLOAD - 6.97MB
V2 DOWNLOAD - 6.97MB
Had to upload to Sendspace, the zip is too big for the filebin.

SMBX link: http://rpgmaker.net/engines/smbx/ - The download link is under "Engine Details."

SCREENSHOTS

Downloading it now, though judging by the screenshots, the level design looks nice and appealing. I'll probably comment more on it if I get the chance to play it before C3 is over.

Like I said in the Game Creation forum, the level design looks superb. I'm really liking the those screenshots, and the level seems fun to play. Good job! :3
Actually I think redigit now allowed us to post smbx downloads again but idk lemme see. And yknow posting smbx sounds like a great idea even if barely anyone here has it.

Anyways looks pretty good I ought to try it later
This looks great! The level looks well-designed, and the urban atmosphere is shown really well, especially in the outdoor city areas.Free counters!
Nice, I didn't really expect to see a custom SMBX level shown at C3, but it's actually a very pleasant surprise. I'll definitely check out your level, it seems to be well made and fun to play. Also, did you use TheDutchLuigi's custom city graphics in a fangame? That's pretty awesome actually, it's kind of interesting to see the same graphics in SMW hacks and fangames. :)
Now that you mention it, yes, those are TheDutchLuigi's city graphics. supermarioman ripped the tileset for SMBX, I think.

Also, thanks for the comments everyone! #w{=)}

Oh, I totally thought it was you who ripped it, but it's great nonetheless. It's also pretty nice that people are ripping graphics to "bigger" fangames from graphics submitted to SMWC.
I've just made some updates to this level. I have used a City Brick tileset inside the buildings and put in an additional Star to find.

I also added the link to the first post.
