My C3 Thread (UPDATED: Giant Beetle, Roy, and an Incomplete Flying Kamek)

Welcome to my C3 thread. Over the next four days I plan to upload about 12 sprites (includes a powerup and an incomplete sprite that I will put in my file bin) and to help a fellow friend who's no longer a part of the community out I'll upload some of his graphics that he specifically asked me to upload.

Today's Uploads
1) Giant Beetle
This is the Giant Beetle boss I've created based on some inspiration from SMWCP. This boss follows you in the shell and when he smashes a wall a rock is spawned to stun him. Once he is stunned (i.e. flipped over) you can jump on his underside to hurt him.

2) Roy
A custom Roy boss for your liking based very loosely on the second Roy fight in NSMB Wii

3) Flying Kamek (currently incomplete and will finish ASAP)
This is uploaded to my file bin for now until I finish it. This was to fulfill a certain request and the sprite turned out to be harder than I thought

Sunday's Uploads:
4) Bowser Jr.
This sprite is loosely based on Bowser Jr. from NSMB. He cannot be jumped on until Mario throws a shell at him. Just like his form in 4-Tower, 6-Tower2, 7-Tower and the towers in World 8, he throws a shell at Mario and Mario throws the shell back to stun him.
Video
This video also features the level I put him in my upcoming hack Super Mario: The Koopaling's Revenge. I have since fixed the clipping so don't be turned off by the video

5) Lemmy and Wendy are now one spritte
This sprite behaves as a custom Lemmy when the extra bit is clear and a custom Wendy when the extra bit is set. The Lemmy spawns two types of balls where one of them breaks if it hits a horizontal
surface and the other is rideable. The Wendy spawns a ring that disappears into smoke when it hits a vertital surface and a carryable egg.
Download

6) Propeller Cap
A loose approximation of the propeller cap from NSMB Wii. A drawback is this can only be used in a level. It can't even be taken into sublevels.

Saturday's Uploads:
7) Fake Ghost Door
Inspired by the fake doors in NSMB Wii, this sprite acts like a door with gravity at first. When Mario is in the vicinity and presses up it turns into four ghosts similar to how the fake ghost doors in NSMB Wii that soon disappear

8) Giant Bony Beetle
A giant version of the Bony Beetle sprite. Mario must spin jump on it to dismantle it, as regular jumps will do no damage. Stays on ledges if extra bit is set.
Video
The video is old. I got rid of the sound when it reassembles
Download

9) Giant Masked Koopa
This sprite is heavily inspired by all the Giant Koopa Bosses that have come before it where it walks on the ground until Mario jumps on it. It then spins in its mask/shell until it comes into contact with a wall and then does one of four random attacks depending on its color. Check the README for info in how to set it up

Friday's Uploads:
10) Boom Boom
I've listened to people's requests and I've decided to upload Boom Boom. This sprite does not emulate the SMB3 sprite perfectly but it is a close approximation. Make sure to check out the README for further instructions

11) Lololo and Lalala
This is one sprite that is a close approximation of Lololo and Lalala in the Kirby universe. The extra bit determines whether it looks like Lololo or Lalala. One thing to keep in mind is that Mario cannot spin jump on the boss. He will get hurt. Read the README for further instructions

12) Splitting Mega Goomba Pack
This is a pack of 2 sprites, the Splitting Giant Goomba and Splitting Mega Goomba that are loosely inspired by the sprites of the same name in NSMB Wii as well as the Marchin' Milde boss in Yoshi's Island. The Mega Goomba must be spin jumped a configurable number of hits to split into 2 Giant Goomba, which can be hit normally to turn into 2 regular sized Goombas. Look at the README for further instructions

Thanks Mawwo7. The Lololo and Lalala sprite was the second attempt at creating this boss. I failed at the first attempt. Hope you like it

Very nice sprites you have there! They all seem to be accurately coded. I like the idea of the Mega-Goomba boss, the way it resembles Marching Milde in Yoshi's Island is nice. One thing I will recommend though, is increase Boom-Boom's speed for the first time you hit him, as it's a little slow. Aside from that, nice job!Free counters!
Pretty interesting bosses as usual dahnamics. I really like the Lololo and Lalala one. (I never expected to see them made as custom bosses XD.) My only slight complainant is that the Mega Goomba seems almost too harmless, at least for a boss.

No big deal though. Keep up the great work. #w{=D}

Well the MegaGoomba sprite could either be used as a boss or a regular sprite. Depends on what you want to use it as. I personally used it as a boss in my hack that I'm working on to give it that Marchin' Milde type of feel

Well, they're amazing!

Aside from some sprites being accurate, like the megagoomba, they're incredible and I could use it in my hack!

Good Job!
Oh man, I love the Ghost Door and the Mega Goomba, I'll make sure to download 'em and check out the rest of your work later!
Amazing bosses, dahnamics!
I liked the Lolola and Lalala, they are a kind of boss "rare" to create.
You should make more Kirby bosses, they are very good and original.

Neat stuff you have here in this thread! I particularly like Lololo and Lalala as well as the Giant Masked Koopa. There's one odd thing I noticed about the latter in the video though--the ground shakes when he jumps off of the ground instead of when he lands on it. Also, is there any reason why the doors are set up to overlap Lololo and Lalala? It just looks strange to me.

Additionally, I have something for you at my booth.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I really appreciate it. Those are not real doors I used in the Lololo/Lalala battle but blocks that looked like doors where the layer priority. Is at the highest

The giant bony beetle and the mega goomba need more appropriate graphics, extending the graphics of the smaller version only makes them look pixeled.

I really liked your sprites in general, especially the ghost door, it could be a fun trick for ghost houses.
Wow, all those sprites are really cool. I may even use a boss or two of yours in my hack! :D
Working on stuff again đź‘€
That Giant Bony Beetle may come in handy for my hack's 4th World, which will have a giant theme similar to Big Island in SMB3. I'll probably edit the graphics so they'll be consistent with the ones I'm using for the normal ones.
