Problem with Mode 7 Bosses appearing invisible

I'm making a level. Everything is normal. But, I put a door leading to Morton's room. And guess what, he's completely invisible, but still functional. I tried this with Ludwig and he bugged up the same way. Only, the fireballs were visible. And until trying to use a rewind (I'm making my hack hacker friendly), the pallete for the room messed up, but upon reloading with a save state it fixed itself. I asked on the IRC and some people said to port, and some said that I don't need to do it, but I never found a fix. I'm really confused about this.

P.S.: Only thing I can think off right now that's causing it is changing the HP if Morton, Roy and Ludwig (they share the same address).
Maybe it depends on the tileset you used. Did you use the castle tileset in the level with the door?

Well, make sure that you're not using Sprite Memory 10, as it'll glitch with Mode 7 bosses, also, make sure that you've set the correctly level mode in LM.

Nope, I can't use this, because of the ExGFX set I'm using.

The level mode is 09, and I'm pretty sure it is correct, because the level is D9 (we're talking about Ludwig, btw. I decided to use him.) and that is the vanilla one. Also, the sprite memory is 0.

So, both things did not help. Maybe I do have to port.
