Today I have a new tool to show. I was already working on it for some time, but I think it's time to release it:

SnesGFX!

This tool allows to convert images (PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF and TIFF) to SNES/RAW format (2, 3, 4, 8BPP SNES, 2, 4BPP RAW/Packed and 8BPP Linear).

So ripping images from modern formats to SNES, it will be very easy with this tool. As of bonus, it can decrease number of colors without any (big) loses and its have a preview window before you save.

(Huge preview if it is too small to you)

Converted image: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16203903/C3-1/snesgfx4.png -- (see yourself the final result)

This tool doesn't remove any repeated tiles and converting to mode 7 format (8BPP RAW/Linear) requires other steps to work correctlly. But anyway, here the SnesGFX!

Download

Important: The files generated by tool it will be stored on image folder, not tool folder.

That's awesome. You're really making SMW hacking easier with these tools.

I might put some sort of signature here once. I guess.
This is very good! It might even encourage me to hack again.
I tried this with the NSMB DS blue koopa. It does work, but how can I set the transparency color?

--------------------
You can download my VLDC12 entry here.
By default its sets tranparency color to first pixel of image, but make sure that "Arrange colors" option is checked, else it will pick a random one.

Maybe in future version I can add a option to select transparency color.

You are doing a very good job with these tools! I'm sure they'll be of great use to myself and the rest of the community.
This is pretty awesome! I also like how the amount of colours can be chosen, and that it is all off-line.
Hey, it's a very nice tool you've got here! I can work with Mode 7 graphics with ease and ripping will be much more efficient!

Good Job!
This... is just amazing. You'll make any ripper's life easier. This dude just started a SMW hacking revolution with this and the music player.

Test:

they say... i forgot
goddamn son two great tools in two days. though i find it easy to just copy and paste paint images into yy-chr or convert images to 16-bit this will definitely help people. very nice job again.

Very nice, Vitor! This should definitely make ripping graphics from images a hell of a lot easier.
Vitor, do you want to marry me ?

No way you made a tool like this. It's simply amazing. If only you would've made it a few months before, I could've saved a couple of hours not ripping all the Frogatto graphics from sprite sheets. :P

Really, these stuff make SMW hacking easier and much more fun. Just don't stop man, don't stop please! :D
First, you made achieved SA-1 support.
Second, you made a HUGELY helpful Music tool.

And now, after all the time and problem people went through to rip, you make this tool.

Vitor, you sir, are a FUCKING GENIUS.
Interesting stuff you've got there!
I'll surely mess around with it once I get some time, maybe I can even get mode 7 to work using proper rips.
Anyway is this a new SMW hacking revolution or something?!

I personally say yes! I mean...these things make stuff so much easier! I'm so pumped up on what I could do with this certain tool!

Also, I just have to say...YAY VITOR'S ON SYSTEM'S SIDE!
Thanks for all comments guys!
I can't say if this and/or AM4 Player is a revolution, but I sure that this is the revolution of C3.

Anyway, appears that there are no bugs in this tool. But if anyone has any suggestions or bug, say here, so I can add or fix it. :) If not, I'll send this tool to the tools section later.
