This is my full-length hack The Senate. I hardly post updates anymore, but this checklist will be updated once or twice a week. Check the whole thread for screenshots and such.

This is looking really good so far. The level design is looking great. The only issue I can see is the bad status bar palette in 1-2 and the start of 1-3.
Since you are using the standard SMW status bar, maybe you could try using the Sprite Status Bar in the Patches section.
Ah, it's good to see you aren't a person that says "aaa I can insert ExGFX I must make an awesome hack with aaall the graphics on da Earth aaa" and make disasters when use ExGFX by the first time.

Seriously, I'm impressed with your graphics choice. Nothing is clashing so far and you made a nice use of them in the levels. One thing I think you have to improve is your submap: the design is ok, but it's missing decorations, and specially paths (if you think it's ok, I apologize. For me an OW without paths is bad, unless you aren't using the usual SMW style).

Yeah, nice job! I hope I can see more.

Simple amazing, your hack looks good so far, the design is okay but the graphic choices are clashing with each other, the redrawn BG/FG and the normal Mario but overall it's okay.

This Hack Looks Good, the Level Desing, ExGFX selection, well, i can't wait for see more of this Hack! :D
Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to work on the stats bar palet in level 1-2 & 1.3 but I think it looks pretty neat actually ;)

This is a great hack you're working on here, and the ExGFX choices fit well with the classic SMW sprites. The level design is good throughout the hack.

However, I found a few issues while watching the video.

This has already been mentioned but in the 1-2 and 1-3, the palettes in the status bar and of the pirahana plants need to be fixed.

At 5:36 (1-3). The screen randomly moves to the left as Mario goes down the pipe. I think this is because the entrance into the midpoint area is so far to th right in that screen, not entirley sure. I just remember running into this before, but forget what exactly causes it.

1-4
At 8:01 There is a missing tile.
At 8:46 the Dragon Coin is on a Subscreen Boundary. Move it lower or higher. Otherwise it gives the player a ton of lives.
At 8:54 Background Tile is missing in the cloud.

1-5
Nothing wrong as I could tell, but just wanted to mention I liked the whole "climbing on bushes" thing.

1-Castle
Not sure if you're using Layer 2 or not, but if not, a background would really enhance the appearance of the level.

That's pretty much all I found. Liking what I've seen so far. Looking foward to more!#w{=D}

The Status Bar Palet will be fixed, I actually liked it, those soft colours, but everyone seems to be hating it, so I'll work on it.

1-4:
So stupid, I've seen all faults in this level, but was too lazy to fix it.

1-5:
Thanks, got the Idea from Zelda ;)

1-6:
Yet again, too lazy to mke a BG, it's very hard to make a Vanilla BG with the FG Palet, so I just dropped it. But, I'll see what I can do.

Thanks again, you reminded me of some minor/major bugs in my hack.

NEW HUGE UPDATE 23-6-2012
Woa, Triple Post.

I've taken a break on this hack because I was stuck and worked on some team hack levels.
But I made 2 new levels a few days ago and I wanted to share them with you!



Upper Screenshots:
This level is called "Time Flies", from which I know it's a expression in Dutch, but not in English. Please comment if it's all-right and if not, what's a similar expression.
I just wanted to point out that you often forget time while hacking, so this level has 4 parts in which it gets darker every screen until it's night (upper-right-screenshot).

Lower Screenshots:
This is the last level for the castle. There are going to be 5 levels, but I may consider adding one to avoid too many levels with the same tileset (Lvl 1 to 3 in Forest).
Very good level design. I never seen such good use with the slopes.
Very, very nice! I too love how effective your slope design is! Keep it up man! :D

Anyways I thought the first castle (Mossy Castle) fits better in world two in difficulty and theme, so I started making the 1st castle yesterday:



Please ignore the bad BG, The FG messes up the castle BG, so I'll think of a solution later.
4th Screenshot: This is a funny idea I came up with, the koopa hits the shell, the shell hits the block with a vine inside. As most of you know it goes trough a rope and reveals some dry bones or other enemies.
OH NOES YOU SAID MY NAME WRONG!!?!?!?! (aka :P)

Anyway, looks really, really nice. I like the red ground intersecting and joining the grey ground gimmick. It's realy, really nice and gives the level a better visual flare.
