Making custom shooters/generators

Kind of a repeat of my pipe question, but I can't double post, so!

How do I make a custom shooter or generator, like a pipe that generates goombas? I've never been good with SpriteTool, but my guess would be that I open the generators folder, open one of the .cfg files with the cfg_editor and then check off some box that says generates sprite number so-and-so.

But I'm probably wrong. So can someone give me a really in depth guide of what I need to do? Unless it requires ASM, in which case I'll just request a custom sprite.

All you need to do is download (if you don't have them already) the Normal or Custom Shooter (fix). The asm files and cfg files should be placed on the 'shooters' folder and inserted anywhere in C0-CF.

In the Normal Shooter asm file, look for this:

SPRITE_TO_GEN = $1C

If you check the Add Sprites Window in Lunar Magic you'll see that $1C is the Bullet Bill. The $1C can be changed to any value from 00-C8. However, not all of them are supported and any value above C8 will cause a crash.

In the Custom Shooter asm file, look for this:

SPRITE_TO_GEN = $17

If you inserted a Missile Bill as sprite $17 then it will generate that sprite. The $17 can be changed to any value from 00-BF. However, not all of them are supported and any value above BF will cause a crash.
If you want to make them come out of a pipe, just use the "No Mario" blocks from Blocktool for the pipe end. That way, they can actually appear inside the pipe instead of just outside (which looks weird).
