FG ,BG ,and sprites

So I know how they all work. My question is what are the differences between FG 1,2,and 3?
BG 1,2,and 3?
Sprite set 1,2,3,and 4?

They're just different slots to store the graphics in (each can only hold 128x64 pixels worth of graphics). Technically, their number doesn't actually matter.

(Also, replaced the screenshot of yours with a link. On a side note: not to be rude, but that screenshot doesn't really make it look like you know how graphics work.)


 
That picture/link I showed you didn't contain any ExGFX.
Also thanks for the info.
Edit: How odd that I would do that... I picked a ExGFX for some reason and all it did was break my cement blocks.

Then why do some Custom ExGFX require you to put the ExGFX in a certain spot?

I'm not too sure what those things are next to the Add Objects window, but moving them was a wise idea because the player could get stuck otherwise.

Those things next to the Add Objects window are blocks that automatically make you bounce.
...Hmm... I hate doing this (not really) but what is with the invalid map warp in the overworld editor?

If you mean the Stars/Pipes, those are just from a table expansion hack, it's safe to use them.
