I'm wondering if it would be posible to make a tryclyde sprite from smb2. I'm just here to ask if it would be a waste of time or to actualy do it.

Enemy or a boss...?
@ D4RK M4RIO: Tryclyde is the 3 headed dragon boss thing from SMB2.
I'm thinking D4RK M4RIO wants to know if it is going to be an enemy or a boss in Question's hack.
Boss, and i'm willing to learn whatever I need to.

Yes, I was asking if he wanted it as a boss or an enemy, because Tryclide like someone said is a boss, but his topic title said enemy...

You need ASM knowledge, and one fact I know it is hard to make a custom boss...
I think it would be smarter to make it an enemy because their simpler to make and if you want to use them as bosses you can just download the no sprite on screen goal generator.
Someone I know with ASM knowledge tried to make a Triclyde and it was very difficult (they put the project on hold indefinitely).

Yeah, that was me who tried making a Triclyde. That, however, was a while back, and since then I have improved dramatically at designing custom sprites. I wanted to give it another try at some point, but it's not exactly on my top-priorities list, same with Mouser and a Fryguy that doesn't suck. (I already made a Fryguy a bit ago, but... it really sucks... @[email protected]) The Mouser will be the easiest.

Basically, yes I'll get to it, no it won't be for a while. :)

Actually, a triclyde would be pretty easy. All it does is move back and forth and spawn fireballs at one of three random places, and the direction the fireballs go could be easily calculated.

It may be a good first sprite for me to attempt, but I'm too lazy to.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. The hardest parts would be the tilemap (6 freakin' tiles @[email protected]) and getting thrown objects to damage it without killing it (hint: you need to go into the .CFG and set "Interact with other sprites" to OFF, even though there is interaction). Also, getting the fireballs to go in 1 of 3 different directions would be much, much harder than getting it to go in 1 of 4, simply because SMW likes things kept in powers of 2 for some reason. XD

Why not just get the fireballs to go in one of four directions then, you silly billy? :P
And isn't there a disassembly of the Big Boo Boss sprite you could use for the throw block thing?
