Hmm, I believe you, Silver. It happens. It's not that good to have 2 levels of different hacks with the same unique name, but you're changing it, so it's 100% right.

Your hack is good, but needs some improvements and you should fix the Graphical and Musical Clashes.

Offtopic: Turbo Man, your layout gets a cutoff in low resolutions.
Thank you Grate! Really thank you for trusting me.#w{=P}
If you need help or you want something like a port (I can port!), ask to me...I'm always ready to accept all your needs!#w{=P}

Now that the case is solved, let's continue to comment out!

Felipe: Sorry for the posts before...and thank you for the suggestion you posted.#w{=P}
No problem.
Also, I don't think you can help me with portings, since Dm2 soundtrack was already made by me and Black Hawk.
It's okay Silver, I'm sorry also for previous posts.

All righ then, your Reimu is as cute as mine#w{=3}(are you a touhou fan too?)

Let's go on comments!#w{xD}
I am so going to regret this but I'm going to LP this... blind and see how bad or good it really is (I hope this is worth it... or this will be a waste of time).

Next time, dont rush your hacks or else comments like this will come a lot, slow down or else your hacks are going to end up like this. Seriously, its a big mistake, dont take the same mistake as me.

Got it.:(

Oh, and thanks for the LP! Can you give me the link, so I can see it?

Sorry guys, but it will take some time...but if you want you can help me posting suggestions here. The waiting time will decrease...
Here are my thoughts on your hack (please note that I'm up to W5, so my thoughts reflect your hack up to that point):

First of all, I like the music used. Now while that is a good thing, you used songs from various games (YI, Kirby, DKC, etc.) which in my opinion, don't really go that well together. Also, you have some inconsistency in the sound effects. For example the SMW coin SFX in some levels and YI coin SFX in some levels - I think you should have just stuck to one throughout the hack. On top of that, some of the sound effects (like jumping) screw up very often. Also, I felt sometimes a big variation in the volume levels of some songs so I had to force myself to lower it in some cases. Of course, that's a little bit nitpicky. :P

I think the level design is alright. It's not too good but at the same time it's not that bad either. Some sections were quite fun to play but others were boring and frustrating, most probably because of a lack of a good difficulty curve. It's pretty nice that the wall-jump and long-jump are utilised in this hack quite often, but I don't see myself using a U-jump anywhere.

The story seems a little bit interesting so far - I'm glad it's not your generic save Peach from Bowser plot. Your dialogues are severely messed up though and I think you should have gotten most of it proof-read by someone good at grammar since since you said it yourself the cutscenes might have errors here and there. But hey, I found some of the dialogues quite bizzare and funny, especially Mario's ones. :P

I am not a fan of your bosses at all. I've probably fought around 10 of them, and pretty much all of them have the same attacks. They are boring, repetitive and frustrating and seem like a very poor usage of the n00b boss. It's pretty much this: the boss runs left and right, shoots fireballs and sometimes hammers or other enemies and takes X hits to kill. Please do change them or at least make them have different attacks.

There are TONS of graphical clashes. It's like you just randomly slapped graphics from the GFX section in your hack without even checking if they match the style of your hack or not.

Now, for some small things.

I didn't really like the change in some things, such as the Goomba palette and fireballs. It's like you tried to fix what wasn't even broken in the first place. You have some palette issues here and there but nothing major. There is slowdown in quite a few areas such as "Full moon fortess" and "Mystical lava fort". There's no incentive to collect coins or Yoshi coins since collecting them pretty much does nothing (but I guess that's not really a big issue). There's also many bugs, for example this.

Overall the hack is alright, but please keep in mind I am trying to provide more constructive criticism than comments like "z0mg nice hack!!". If you fix up certain things (bosses, grammar, etc.) then I am sure this hack would be even better and people would enjoy it even more.

I got it everything. Thank you for your support!#w{=P}

Also I want to use this post for news:

-I'm trying to improve the level design a bit;
-The English syntax is fixed thanks to telinc1;
-I will redo (partially) the bosses;
-I'll try to fix the clashes;
-Fixing some glitches as well;

Other opinions are welcome!#w{=P}
You can change the GFX of Goomba, in my opinion was very strange.
NEWS!

-The level design won't be improved: every time I edit A SINGLE TILE IN A LEVEL it give me black screen...too bad;
-Fixed some Kaizo-Bosses, like ring man and LUI-37;
-I'm going to add another music for the LUI-37 battle;
-The English is totally betterized!;
-Improved graphics cutscene (Felipe's suggestion);
-Maybe I'll change the goomba GFX;
-I won't fix the clashes, because I want to have this sort of "weird" effect;
-I'll try to lower the volume of some musics, like Iceguy said;

That's all for now. If my hack get rejected/accepted, I'll submit this new version. I'm only waiting for a moderator that will take care of it.

Any suggestions are welcome!#w{=P}
Why can't you fix the clashes? It honestly doesn't look very good, and won't take you thank long to fix.

Well, it may doesn't seem, but my rom is very screwed up. I can't edit levels, as I said first. It will result in black screen.

BUT if someone can make a list of these clashes, I'll may try a way to fix them.
If your ROM is that broken, perhaps you should consider porting your stuff to a new one?

Get the official ASMT resource pack here!

You could try using Geiger's Snes9x debugger to trace the crash but it won't help much if you're not experienced with ASM. But then again, your level design isn't too bad so leaving it as is shouldn't be an issue. You should make regular backups of your hack regardless.

I'm not sure if making a list of clashes would be that useful because the issue doesn't lie with the individual level graphics but the graphics of your hack as a whole. You don't have a consistent graphics style throughout the hack. I see DKC mixed with YI mixed with Kirby mixed with the original SMW graphics and none of them really go together.

I'll may have to do like that.

However, I think it may be a freespace problem...and maybe I can remove some useless patches. For example, I remember I inserited the Dynamic Sprites Patch, but I havn't used dynamic sprites because it glitch with the wall-jump patch.

I tried removing it with a tool, I can't remember how it's called. In the end, it failed. Maybe I haven't used it correctly.

@Iceguy: I NOW got what's "clashes" ^^

I don't know if I'll fix...you know, I'm using YI graphics also for a bonus level (Let's Yoshi Island!) that's supposed to be like that.
I don't know...maybe I'll do...maybe I'll don't...
You know what? Don't fix the graphics 'clashes'. Everyone here makes way too much of a big deal about it when frankly average joe doesn't give a toss about what graphics 'clash'. Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and Super Mario Fusion have clashing graphics. No one cares. So does I Wanna be the Guy. No one cares. Smash Bros Flash and Crusade. No one cares. Same with Abobos Big Adventure. People don't give a toss, the only ones who do are basically nerds.

If you like the gfx as are, leave them as is.

If you want to fix one thing though, fix the bosses. They're kind of boring as is, they generally just use the same attacks and patterns. It's blatantly obvious you use the ultimate n00b boss, so why not actually use it to its full potential? Make Dark Mario's attack pattern change every few steps and change his graphics along with it. Make him generate sprites to hurt Mario, use on/off functionality and the p switch effect to make custom blocks activate or animation start. Make an invisible hurt block that activates to become a giant screen filling laser or something. Don't just use bosses which run back and forth and shoot extended sprite fireballs.

Wooow, I can't disagree more with you there, buddy. Now explain to me why the "average joe doesn't give a toss about them" while you just said a lot of people complain about it. You're contradicting yourself there. Who says a lot of people don't care about it? It isn't eye-pleasing and just looks rather unprofessional. And for the record, IWBTG didn't have that many clashes at all. And why would people be nerds if they simply dislike something? You're not making sense.

But yeah Silver, I hope you'll port it to a new ROM and fix that. Your hack would be a lot better if you could improve your design and remove those clashes. Good luck with it. ^_^
