Well, this happens: after putting all the patches, the level 102 and another one got totally screwed.
However, I saved a "good version" of the level. When I inserit the level and save...BOOM! The rom glitch when jump button is pressed.

This can may be a freespace setting error...if I put the list of all the patches I used here, maybe you can help me setting the freespace correctly.

Well, aj6666, moderate the hack (reject or accept). When the new one is ready, I'll give it to you and you'll replace it. However, this will take long time, since I'm doing a team hack, and so I'm really busy.

EDIT! These are all the patches I used. Please someone set the correct freespace for me. It will be credited of course.#w{=D}
I'll have to reject the hack since it had too many unfair segments to be accepted, I'll be writing the removal log shortly.

Apparently I can edit your levels just fine for some reason, so if you can't find a way to solve the problem, you can send me the edited levels the (as .mwls) to me and I'll insert them into my ROM and make a new patch.

By the way, do you happen to have an IPS named just as your ROM in your folder? Because that can cause problems sometimes.

IF someone can may set the correct freespace of the patches I used and that I shared in the previous post, it will be easier for me to do the next jobs.

This time, I'm going to fix the levels first, then I'll add the patches. Yes, I'm porting everything to a new rom...again.

MY HACK REBORNS!

-First, added a VERY USEFUL INFO about long jumps. So the player will perform them perfectly!

-Fixed some unfair segments;

-Added new musics;

-Fixed boring areas;

-More easy bosses;

-Fixed Dark Mario final form version;

-Improved OW border;

Ehm, not really. I improved the boring parts, but I haven't done a redraw, due to my lazyness...#thp{zzz3}

World 3-1: "It's desert time!"

I've searched through the whole level, from left to right, from right to left, I tried to enter all pipes, and - especially after reading the hint near the keyhole - I even dived into every quicksand. But I can't find the key. Please help me! Thx!

I just finished the first world, and Trio really makes me think of Silver The Hedgehog. The big issue that a lot of people have with characters like this is how out of place they are. I really don't see how Trio fits into the Mushroom Kingdom. Sure, he looks Luigi-esque, but really that's not too big a reason to have him there.

In all honesty, he feels more like comic relief than some serious, badass. Honestly, I had to pause to laugh my ass off when he went super saiyan.

Since I'm certain that the character's already heavily integrated into the story, I know that you can't just sorta get rid of him. But I think you could at least do some damage control; change your DBZ moves to something similar yet different. Perhaps rather than an alien monkey thing, you could make him a psychic? That would probably fit better.

But, I think the character's already in the water too deep to be saved. You can still do some damage control, but overall I think inserting him in the first place was a poor choice.


But, this is all just me.


On a side note, the rest of what I've played thus far seems pretty good, albeit flat. Your levels could use more curvature and overall variation. That beach level where Trio was introduced was great, IMO.

Hey Silver im really digging this hack so far. Are you the first to come up with a long jump, wall jump/slide, and hi jump? Ive never seem them in a hack before. Really impressed me. Opens up so much in terms of level design
Looks OK, Only thing i dislike is the Mario GFX. Just not feeling it...
