I'm starting a sequel to 'Luigi lost in Telinc's World'. It's called, as the thread title says 'Luigi lost in Telinc's World 2: Telinc's World Returns', or LLITW2:TWR for short. The first two levels are done - here are some screenshots:
Level 1: Grassy Way
Hey look, it's a mushroom!
Hmm... A pipe!
Hint: In a blue screen scrolling pipe.
This coin looks a little tricky.
Look, it's a secret 1-up!
T Coins, 1-ups, pipes, and now Green Coins! What's going on?
Level 2: Platformy Road
Luigi: Great, not only I'm floating, but I have a chainsaw to deal with...
Swingy this is! But fix it I can't! (Get the reference?)
This is all for now, guys. Later today I will get some more screenies from the second level and probably make a video.
I'm open for feedback!
Edit (16 July 2012): Here is the code for the (new) supporter userbar:
That level looks great! I like that super mario rpg part, and I like the BG, I will wait for your video, because I want to see the complete level. But the name is too simple, Grassy Way and Plattformy road are great names but "forest zone" is too simple, you should rename it, but that would be piece of cake for you, you look like a very creative guy.But the leve is great!.
By the way, about the tips you gave me, thanks I am fixing some things and editing, of course with your world recomendations .
Sorry for not updating this for a while, but I was busy making some levels, organizing and optimizing.
Also, now I will post some screenshots from Slf Castle, and when I get feedback for them, I will post a video.
Thwomps, Dry Bones, Coins. What else is there in this castle?
Wall-jump required. Also, thank God these are Wall-jump blocks.
Please welcome Mr. Stupidly Long Pipe to the project.
No going back allowed!
For those of you who didn't understand - the glass is insta-kill.
More glass and more Thwomps.
Big spike you have there, mister.
And there's the lava.
The Bridge of Darkness. *insert copyright sign here*
Koopas which now have the right palette.
More large spikes.
Kamikaze Koopa* warning!
This is just what I need to fight.
And of course, my red glass of death.
*Nintendo Power Advance Volume 4, p. 36 & 92. Also, this is what you all call "Disco Shell". Mario Wiki Confirmation
Blizzard Man: Yes, I did add an underwater area, as we have enough linear levels.
Also, the moons are purely for decoration and unless you edit the level or glitch the game majorly, you can't get get to them. That's all.
xImseiken3: Thank you!
Everybody: Hell Cave NEEDS to unlock something. I'm thinking a Switch Palace. Should I use my leatest idea - an Iridium Switch, or one of the following: Lava Switch, Void Switch, Moon Switch or Pink Switch?
And also, what do you think of these two?:
The new "Nintendo Presents" screen. I made this in around 10 minutes. And yes, I do test the hack in Snes9x, but I like using ZSNES for screenshots.
The new intro screen. (a.k.a. the new welcome to peach is kidnapped again but in dinosaur land screen/level)
