And btw I can't really do too much of a fire or ice kinda level in a beach/grasland world, I guess. I think I'm going to try making some more tilesets so it looks more varied, too. And I actually already started working on a beach and ice kinda level but now I wanna do some smaller changes to that.
I'm just runnig in problems changing my design. Do you mean I should switch the tilset specific sprites more often? Or use more custom sprites?
I say you should at least change the graphics of your tilesets and use other kinds of sprites, like Rexes or Dino Rhinos. That way the levels will look more unique, but not so much that they won't have any coherence with each other.
That's even better than your already super-epic screenshots from before. It's like upgrading...the gold standard.
You went from premium editing, to EVEN BETTER creations. Dude, dont be afraid to pull out some aces from your sleeves. Do the never-done before.
The quality went from an 11/10 to a 12/10. Unbiased. This is quality stuff. Underway, keep breaking the barrier. Focus on a 1st world demo featuring that theme of the "natural" greens, blues and browns.
In fact, if I may offer a recommendation: The World 1 demo should be any level you've shown in a screenshot, PLUS that water level.
Now, what would be good to show: How your World 1 Castle is going to appear. Expand your skill Underway. I will commit to helping you form your vision for this work by giving bits of direction to go towards.
Show us what you got, and keep steady on your quality. You got this.
Looking nice as always, or maybe even better ;)
There's one tiny, tiny, tiny thing I don't like: The little rock on top of the rocky ledge which goes out of the right groundsection in the first screenshot, it doesn't look to good with the gaps between, if you understand what I mean.
Anyways, this is beautiful, keep up the good work !
I remember a while ago saying I disliked your levels because they were crammed with way too many aesthetics but man, I'd like to take that back. The screenshots just look so visually pleasing. You're really great at mixing different tilesets to make a fantastic environment.
Sag: Thanks for helping and supporting this hack this much ;3 Also I can't really show the first world castle since I have finish 2 and start and finish 5 levels before I can start working on the first castle xD The levels take a lot of time to design.
Depp, Thanks :3 And I already thought about fixing that 'cut-off' but I was just too lazy xD I'll do it no though.
Iceguy: Thanks ^^ It's quite interesting how people who disliked this style before now tell me that they like it ^^
Now that BG Border...may clash with future worlds. If there is a way to change the border each time to match the theme of your world, then definitely. Otherwise, by itself, is amazingly marvelous.
The other blue border, works as well, if you replace the dirt decoration with a fire flower, it will be awesome as well.
The "Underway Presents" screen: As your other work, simple, and aesthetically pleasing. Perfect as it is.
Repost that first border, with the dirt scribble replaced with a fire flower. I think that will work best (The BG borderscreen, regardless, is a WELL done creation, and if the themes can be changed per world, then that works better).
