I have played the hack.

S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N, Metalgearhunter:

...although there were a good number of bugs, graphical glitches, and
use of common graphics, there is room for a potentially great hack.

The other posters opinions are legitimate as well. There are far too many hacks containg too much ExGFX, and not enough of the foundation and groundwork needed to make a stellar hack, and that's why I'll put some feedback to even the criticism a little.

Level design is a BIG, MAJOR factor in making the hack. In your hack, guys, seriously, you've got the actual level design down. Once the bugs and glitches are out of the way, the levels end up great to play.

...the lava level only needs some touch ups with the palette, and the BG. Use the YI volcano bg to go with that if you have to.

..as for Scorpion Fortress, try to remove the Mario status bar from those unecessary places. Too glitchy.

Keep this in mind: What make a hack good, as opposed to something that looks like you're 7 year old brother's attempt to make a rope bridge, is the CLEVER LAYOUT of the level rather than the aesthetics (That comes second)

Keep at it guys. And, if you guys need a theme, stick to Tech/Futuristic. That's the impression I, and probably everyone else, gets from the levels, as there's not many tech SMWs available.

Good luck, and hopefully everyone's advice helped out.

Actually, if you like tech and futuristic, then the "SCORPION Base!!!" level (the Final S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N. Fortress) has that, here is screenshot.

For those that think that you'll have trouble because of the BG, then don't worry b/c every level with this ExGFX will have a moving BG.

Not to mension that when this hack gets a good enough of a rating, I will submit my created ExGFX to the public, but anybody that wants them now, please PM me.

Also the final world is in the future, but it is decimated... as shown in the Video.

ALSO, I have just one question. How do I reduce Slowdown?

Lol. What do you think are all the custom sprites/blocks/patches doing to your hack? If you want a slowdown-free hack use Lunar Magic and nothing else. :p That works, seriously.

So far there's only a way to reduce the slowdown caused by custom blocks. It's in the patch section, but it only works if you have all your blocks inserted on the last map16-page. (According to BMF54123 there's a way to change that, but I don't know how.)

Here is a vid of 1 of the 3 Last LEVELS in the game. Only 2 levels left and here is a vid of HUNTER'S BASE! This level is hard and some parts I will Struggle with alot. I am currently fixing that. Vid is now being uploaded.
Nevermind, the vid was too big. Oh well. It is a hard level.

Your layout has been removed.
I was sure you was getting tired of seeing stuff about fortresses and Future, so here is a video of an Earlier world, world 4 - Archipeligo Hop. Island GFX by me.

Looks pretty nice so far. Just one thing to point out, there's some noticeable slowdown present in there. Is that from the recording program you used, or does it actually play that way? If it's the latter, then you'd better fix it. Slowdown isn't fun.
It was just the Recording Program.
