I voted BSNES, mainly because i like it being as close as possible to the real thing. Please excuse my lack of an avatar or banner. I'm just too damn lazy to create one.
That's... cool, I guess, but I fail to see the point of it. I honestly can't tell if it's byuu trolling and trying to demo the flaws of the emulator, or if it's a legitimate project.

It was an april fools joke, iirc. So yeah, trollin'.
Snes9x-rr (version 1.51 for SMW hack compatibility). Although I'm not that interested in creating TASes, the re-recording emulators are the best for recording videos in general as far as I know.
ZSNES...at least until you can make a title screen with emulators other than ZSNES.
So far the demographics are roughly what I expected. At the start it seemed skewed toward SNES9x which surprised me, but I guess that changed
I'm using ZSNES but when I'm testing some things I'm using bsnes and snes9x.
So every emulator here.
I really don't like the wierd blue screen in ZSNES, and I'm just used to SNES9x, so SNES9x, definately!

BSNES: 2nd Place, it's not speedy enough on Windows, I only use it for the MSU-1...
SNES9x: 1st Place, Fair Compatibility, Great Debugger, Everything you'd want to have AND want (at least except for the debug of the SPC700)
ZSNES: Last Place, I'd not do this emulator because of issues for compatibility, There are much better emulators. But this is only just from my end so far... so I'd say go for it if you want compatiblity issues!A.K.A. SmilyMZX,
Also on NESDEV, and on various other forums, Find me on other places if I'm there.

Speaking for myself, I don't feel fun is something that should be exclusive to ZSNES users. He wasn't making that point at all. Hacks can still be fun and work on accurate software but it doesn't have to. You're making it sound like ZSNES users are all commanding that we drop BSNES support when that's far from the case.
I don't particularly know about "all ZSNES users", but the tone of that particular post - along with the very inconsiderate words - was practically a codifying example of "ZSNES elitism", and it wasn't like TRS was trying to provoke him or anything.
Dude, I the basic summary of this post was that 'I don't think accuracy is a big issue but if it is accurate, that's cool'.
I've already stated that I don't care what emulator people use. I never badmouth people for their emulator choice. I hardly see that as elitism.

I'm surprised ZSNES is still that popular even in 2012.
I voted for Snes9x btw 'cause it's more accurate than zsnes but work fine on old computers unlike bsnes and there is a wii version.
I vote ZSNES because it is great on speed, while it's inaccurate..
Of course, ZSNES is most popular because of its awesome speed!
Never been able to get bsnes to run on any of my computers (and - believe it or not - my computer is pretty good) and not cared for it even during the silly MSU-1 fandom.
I chose zsnes because it's hot-keyed to my LM and it's easier to use than snes9x, not to say it's better. I use snes9x sometimes but zsnes is just easier.REMOVED
Zsnes, though if I need frame advance I switch to snes9x sometimes (although Zsnes has frame advance as well). But that only happens once a year or so.Of course you should fight fire with fire, you should fight everything with fire.
Config-->Speed, set the "Incr Frame" to a button of your choice. But I never liked Zsnes' frame advance.Of course you should fight fire with fire, you should fight everything with fire.
Oooh look at my userbar!

snesx9 was the first one I used, so it's the one I'm accustomed to the most. Although I use v1.43 since v1.52+ doesn't play back sound correctly.I no longer have interest in SMW Hacking as I did when I first started several years ago.
I like ZSNES.
