AddmusicK Beta Release Thread

Link Thread Closed
You do realize he's been releasing betas for more than 2 months? (look at the first post)
Unless you meant tools section, but I believe Kipernal wants only non-beta versions there (and bug-free).
I'm referring the new version of AddmusicK!!
I want to know when he'll release that new version!!
Just for test it!!

Do you realize bugs cannot be fixed in 2 days?

to hear birds and see none.
As far I know, every time Kipernal posts here, he updates the link of the first post with a new addmusicK beta.

Not too be pushy or anything, but you are going to add the r and space between notes using decrease gain feature right?

My own stupidity amazes me sometimes...I completely forgot to add that last time. It is in there now (well, sort of; see below) as $FA $05 $XX, where $XX is the GAIN to use in place of a rest ($00 is just a normal rest). It's channel specific.

Pretty much...except for this time.

I think everything's finished. I've fixed one bug and added two features, and I'll be creating a proper release thread and submitting the tool to the site later tonight. Thank you everyone for your help and especially for all the great feedback and bug testing; I literally couldn't have made this tool what it is without you guys!

Final beta changelog:

- Added a command that changes the function of rests; instead of cutting the note, it will change the currently playing note to the specified GAIN value.
- The arpeggio command is now properly affected by strong legato.
- Made it so that #louder is no longer a toggle.
- Fixed a bug regarding the $E5 and $F3 commands playing on sound effect channels.
- More readme modifications.
I should get a new layout.

Probably won't, though.
YES! Dude I love you!!!
(Not that way though..)

Congrats on finishing up AddMusicK, Kipernal! I can't wait to see all those AMK ports getting on the site. You've really outdone yourself! ^^
I've got a few bugs to report.

My music seems to break whenever the clapping chuck's sound effect is played, and it seems like when transitioning from submap to submap or submap to overworld, there is a considerable amount of lag.

I also noticed that you cant button mash your way through the title screen anymore, and it responds slower to button presses.
Question: "Do I use the AddmusicKGUI that's in there to insert music, or the .exe?"

I used the "AddmusicK.exe" on both my hacked rom and a clean rom, and the music is not even being registered, and .msc file is not being created. Is it supposed to automatically close out after the insertion is complete?
@Adam and S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N.: I've answered your questions here.

I'll go ahead and close this then, actually. With the new release thread this one doesn't serve much of a purpose anymore...
