Every year I could in high school, I took Music as a class. And every time it was singing. I can sing worth a crap, but I don't usually try too hard. I'm generally shy about it too, so there isn't too many people who have heard me sing, but everyone who has told me I was great.
I've been playing piano for two years now (I'm mostly playing things along the lines of Bach's famous minuet and The Entertainer) and guitar since the beginning of 2012, which is probably my best instrument. I can do a little bit on the violin and flute too, though not much. I've got a pretty high voice which is great for singing.
I have been playing percussion for four or five years now and the mallet percussion for three or four years. Via learning to play mallet percussion, I've taught myself how to play piano as well, but can't play bass clef & treble clef at the same time too well.
My YouTube username is DTE225.
I really enjoy playing instruments, but doesn't consider myself that incredible good, I'm just loving the feeling I get when I play instruments and just joke around with them, trying to play tunes I like.
I started to mess with the piano like 10 years ago, and I'm still just messing with it. I've never learned to read notes (something I really should do soon), so I've always just tried to recreate what I've heard and tried to make some own shit, altough I've never really made a decent lenght song.
I started to joke around with the guitar about 2 years ago. I'm still only playing chords, but I've become better at shifting between chords and it actually sound pretty decent. I often whistle the tunes, but sometimes I sing too, not recogmended listening to
Here are the instruments I own:
Kazoo
It sounds horrible!
Ukulele
Never really learned how to play this shit, its too tiny for my hands.
Melodion
I love this thing, it looks strange and make sad noices
Keyboard
The mothership.
I actually don't own a guitar, but I always find one when I want one.

about singing... I don't know, you could listen to this
bin.smwcentral.net/u/3947/SMWC.m4a
altough I'm using a twisted voice, it still better than when I actually try to sing, I guess.
I don't really consider the kazoo an instrument but I can play it pretty much perfectly (or as perfectly as you can).
As for singing, until this year I never tried due to my quiet, monotone voice. However this year there was a school musical, so I worked with my school's music teacher and I learned two things about my voice: I have perfect pitch and a pretty solid range. I can sing any note presented to me (by ear though, I can't read sheet music). I learned that I can (roughly) sing as low as Johnny Cash and (roughly) as high as George Michael which is pretty awesome to know.
I wouldn't say I'm necessarily a captivating singer. It's not like I have some rich voice that demands attention. Unfortunately I also need to learn to emote better when I sing, but fortunately I heard it's essentially like emoting while acting which is pretty easy for me.ask me if i give a f*ck...
I took piano lessons as a kid until my mother told me (more like 'forced me') to quit probably due to my reluctance in learning and completing assignments. I didn't do anything music related until I got an electric guitar for Christmas in 2006. Guitar became my main instrument since then.
I'm more like a singer now though. I'm not taking any singing lessons, but I do some sort of vocal training by myself sometimes. I'm still not confident in my singing ability, but I think there will always be a chance I can entertain people with my singing in the future.
When I was 8, I took Piano lessons, too. I always loved to see piano players on TV and to hear their pieces and performances. It lasted for a year until I've decided to stop for feeling like a newbie and for being extremely requested to play somewhere (I was terribly shy, I didn't like the idea).
I've forgotten how to read music sheets, then. And I can't play the piano incredibly well. I'm good at playing some simple things by ear, though.
As of now, I play the drums. You guys know, I have a band. But I've started playing without having/watching a single lesson. And it was in a rehearsal. There were no cymbals - it sounded fail.
It's been two years since when I've started. Still I didn't have any drums course, nor I do have bought drums to practice at home. My practice method is at rehearsals once in a week. But nevertheless I've improved a lot and now I play decently well.
I have problem with motor coordination, though. Using the double pedal is something that needs precision, and that's difficult to get without a very hard training.
Aside from playing the drums, I can sing, too. I breathe well and the like, but the problem is that my voice doesn't help when I want to change tones. Either I sing completely in low-pitched notes or high-pitched ones - I'm unable connect them. By default my voice is very low-pitched.
Wish I had something to show, but my recordings are a crap that you can't see/hear anything apart from noise.
Music has always been, and always will be, a part of my life.
I started playing piano at age 4, and I'm still playing it now. I was also a member of choir during my high school years, so I'm definitely a singer too.
I started my career as a pianist back about 6 years ago, currently I'm in grade 10 piano. I've also learned a little bit of Alto Saxophone, but not enough to really qualify as 'understanding' the instrument as my Grade 9 music teacher said. I started playing piano for two reasons:
1. I had recently read a study on students showing that those who played instruments effectively were better in school, then I showed it to my parents, and they signed me up for piano lessons.
2. Glenn Gould was always a big inspiration for me.
I must say, it definitely has improved my problem-solving and analytical skills in school. Currently I practice for anywhere between 1 and 3 hours a day.Hmm. . . not sure what to say so I'll just stop talking. . .
I want to believe that I can sing, but I haven't really had a chance to show off my singing to others for objective evidence of my singing ability.
As for instruments, I have on-and-off been teaching myself the piano online. I don't consider myself good at it by any means yet, but I do feel myself getting better. My biggest problems so far are my inability to read sheet music and play at the same time, and my lack of coordination when trying to play instruments.
You hear dice being thrown...
My SMW ROMhack: Super Market Roll Drums is active once again! Second 2014 C3 Demo Here ([thread][demo])

The bass guitar, of which I own 5
Also the regular guitar, of which I own one.
Been playing for a good 5 years.
I can play guitar, just not nearly as well as you'd think for how long I've been at it. Though I never practiced as much as I should have.
I've had a couple years of vocal training, but I can't speak for actually being that good since I don't record enough to hear myself sing lately, and it sounds a lot different in my head when I'm just practicing to myself.
Also, despite my decent music theory know-how, I am a terrible lyricist.
I've enjoyed singing for as long as I can remember, but i'm pretty sure I actually got good come high school, when I took chorus there. Probably the most influential part of my whole 4 years there. But as a drawback, I don't have ANY of the required patience to avidly learn any sort of physical instrument. Though, it would be my dream to compose video game music...
Man everybody here plays the usual things like guitar and piano...
I play the trombone for my high school band (Symphonic most of the year and Marching during football season) and I'm teaching myself piano, unsuccessfully so far.</div></div>
Guitar and that's pretty much it
At least I'm fairly experienced at it.
And I kinda sorta sing.
EDIT: I can't believe I forgot I freaking love playing the drums
I can play the oboe, tenor sax, english horn, and drums. I can also sing and whistle well.
However, I am only good at oboe and english horn. Drums and tenor sax I am okay at.
Guitar is my primary instrument. I play and do growl-vocals for my black metal band called [redacted]. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone here though, since it's very harsh metal.
I'm getting better at the drums and I can sing, but I haven't had any reason to sing in a while. These days, it's mostly harsh growling vox, which I doubt anyone here counts as singing. lolMy layout has removed you.
I play Flute (for two years) and Alto Saxophone (not even a year yet). Does whistling count as an instrument? I'm pretty good at that.
I'm also thinking of playing a low instrument or a clarinet.
I am a TERRIBLE singer though.Working on a terribly overdue first public hack that may be cancelled.
No one else plays Cello here? It's a great instrument with an amazing variety of sounds. I am going on my fourth year of playing and am going to try out for the All-State orchestra next year.
I am playing this and this for a solo and ensemble competition this year.
I think I can sing, a little. Runs through one side of my family. I can also MC a bit.
I play a little piano, but it's only what I've taught myself. Other than that I make music on FL studio.
