Can somebody be so kind as to explain to me why voting is not anonymous? I think this would clear up any and all issues like all the drama.

The organizers and staff have good intentions. The mosts is supposed to be a fun thing, it doesn't have to exist, but the users twist it and take submissions seriously, or use it as a method of attacking others. If anyone noticed, I removed most negative categories from my most votes to avoid any drama. I only voted some of my closer friends in the 'bad' categories as a sarcastic joke, which they haven't complained to me about. I think the best solution to this drama is to just rid the mosts of negative categories in the future, even if people know it's supposed to be a joke or not. Anonymous voting is also a solution.


We get more users every year, that is true, but the amount of active users stay constant. It will only get bigger if there are more regulars. Most people join this website and leave the same day. Basically, the mosts being low quality depends on the people, not necessarily is it entirely the staff's fault. We only have ourselves to blame.


The amount of users taking the mosts seriously is debatable, as it is based on their emotions and opinions of the subject. No one is kidding themselves, and I highly doubt those estimations are true, but go ahead and prove me wrong. Ask every person if they take the most seriously. Keep in mind some will say they don't, even when they actually do. That makes this kind of thing very trivial to use in an argument.

Apparently you forgot to finish the rest of you post, since in the last paragraph you are just attacking your opposing views without addressing the substance of their arguments, or why they might have a valid one.

For someone so tense about it, you seem to be taking this just as seriously as the rest. Pot calling the kettle black, I suppose? IIRC, you were mad about being called Rudest? Just get used to it and don't complain.

I'm not usually on his bad side, I'm actually one of the few supporters of blunt reviewing. Unlike Alessio, I'm just stating this because I felt it needed to be stated, not because of some grudge.

Seems like a self esteem issue to me. If some didn't think so highly of themselves, they'd be less likely to fall apart when someone criticizes them, even jokingly.

If you (not referring to any single person) really want my advice, get the fuck off your high horse. The phrase "nobody's perfect" applies to you as well. If you can't learn to laugh at yourself, you will never make it through life.

As for me, I'm proud to display the trophies I received for negative categories in the 2010 Mosts: Most Unlikely Couple (With S.N.N.), Most Likely to Never, Ever Become Staff, Most Immature, Most Likely to Get a Lump of Coal for Christmas, Most Changed for the Worst, and Worst IRCer. The reason I'm proud of those trophies is because when the 2011 Mosts rolled around, I won one trophy: Most Changed for the Best. That says something, doesn't it?

Imo, people take the mosts too seriously.

Though, people also take it too jokingly.

It should just be regular damn voting rrrrrr. Sure, a couple variable number of joke votes are fine, but don't go insane

If anyone has a problem about being voted in a particular category, or about someone's vote in particular, this thread is not the place to settle it, doing that will just get you frowned upon and will make even more people vote for you in the categories you don't want, and it will also ruin the experience for the people who are enjoying this. If you have any problem with any votes, try contacting the people who voted for you and ask them kindly to take them out, keep in mind though, if they refuse, you'll have to accept it. Some of you need to learn to take feedback, if a lot of people seriously vote for you in categories like rudest or most immature, you might as well consider they must have a good reason to vote for you, and you should try to improve that instead of demanding to remove the negative categories. Mosts should be for fun and games, yes, but they should also be for feedback and insight, and not for drama.

This also goes for the voters, if you're going to vote for someone, just for the heck of annoying the user, then you're doing it wrong, as I said, this should be an event for fun, not an excuse to backslash and troll people. I'm not saying you can't include joke votes, I even included a few in my post, but none of them were done with the intention of trolling or attacking anyone.

Not only negative categories seem to imply on drama.

Read some of my previous posts here when I was upset for thinking that the Mosts overrate several people while the others are forgotten. I was making drama. A general drama, about all categories.
