If you are using Grinders with my Warp Dash, use Tweaker to make them immune to sliding, or else you'll be able to dash them (creates garbage graphics).

This, and there are a few other sprites that are just weird to be killed by Dash/Sliding, namely the Fuzzy/Sparky. There might be others, as well, but I am not really sure.

When a new Base update comes, and if the leaders don't mind, I can tweak those sprites.

But I won't be sad if they do it on their own #w{=P}

Going to update the composition list now. Also going to insert Buried Alive's level and improve it a little bit.
@Qbee A new base update is going to come when I got more time, so not this weekend but the next one then.
Do you mean my level with the grinders? Don´t worry there are no slopes in the level! ^^
But the Wario Dash acts like an slide attack, so the same rule is applied to all levels - no exceptions.

Also a question, Vink: will your level emphasize on an energetic or a dark feel? I'm wondering because I have gotten some musical inspiration to energectic factories.

It should emphasize on an energetic feel. Maybe some catchy beat and some tone slides (are they called like this, but it doesn´t matter now). I will send another screenie from the inside area tomorrow so you can get more ideas. #fim{^_^;}
Since 105 is the last normal level of Smash Mountain, I've remade the BG in the second segment to sneak peak Heaven. Here it is.
A nice adding to the BG, and a nice idea, as well.

I'd just suggest to darken the white color on the clouds a little bit (I assume they're not using palette 4) to a slightly light blue. Something almost white, I mean. It might blend well with the overall color feel.

We see Mario standing in a ring with 4 grinders. Over him is the actual boss controlling the direction of the grinders and eventually also the speed (?in his different phases?). Mario has to reach the switch over the boss to shock and hurt the enemy inside the ring. So Mario has to reach a switch while grinders follow him. Is this a good idea? Is this possible? What do you think? ^^
By the way: Sorry, for my drawing skills. I am not very talented in drawing stuff. I just wanted to show you the concept.
Yeah, I gave up on that, the palette is pretty screwy. But due to popular demand, I figured it out and made it darker. View it here.

Would it look better as a gray? I think as a grey, it would make the whole "Slice of Heaven" thing look a little weird.

e: Ninja'd. That sound pretty interesting. We'd probably have to leave it to MetalJo, but it shouldn't be ridiculous to pull off.
@Vink: That's a pretty neat idea, and I'd love to see such implemented. Let's hope that our friend Metal can do something about that.

@Egadd: Now it's become breathtaking. Awesome! The blue color is perfect.

BTW, I have claimed the Mushroom Kingdom submap, but funny enough I'm also sketching ideas for the Grinder Factory (unclaimed, lol). But dammit I forgot the WIP SPCs - maybe on this Sunday the submap one will be done and I'll officially get the Factory theme and show a demo of it.

Take your time, guys! We could also be fast but then the project would eventually suffer from this. But this team hack gets me to write on SMWC which is quite impressing. ^^

Also, this may seem random, but I noticed that the files such as the guidelines signup lists, etc. are hosted on various users' filebins and on Dropbox. I'll make an offer to you: I can set up a subdomain of k3fka.net and host these files for you, and you can distribute the password amongst the people you want to be able to upload, so that you can all host in one location. I've got a similar setup for Atma (except he's the only one that uploads) at http://atma.k3fka.net/ (http://atma.k3fka.net/files/ to view the files). Drop me a PM if you're interested.

Which levels are open at the moment? I would like to claim one and maybe even eliminate minor flaws in other levels (example: bad corners.) My ideas might change depending on which part of the game I work on.

We could really use some new tilesets, and you can make a rough draft of a couple storyboards, so I don't have to do them #ab{¬_¬}.

That is a good question, who will be the boss of the grinder factory. Heck, we need to start figuring out bosses for all of the levels.
