If you've been on the irc in the past half hour, then you probably already know.
I've been battling with leukemia for the past year of my life. However, no matter how much chemo I went through the cancer just wouldn't go into remission. I'm at the point where I have a week or two to live, according to the doctors.
As such, I'm tying up loose ends before I croak.
So, with that in mind, I just want to thank all of you for putting up with me as long as you did. I'll be the first to admit that I was a honest to god brat when I was active here. And yet, I made friends. I made hacks. Hell, one of mine even got featured for a bit there!
My one regret is that Notte Luminosa never got Let's Played by someone worth a damn (read: anyone). So someone get on that. Or not. Not like I'll get to see it, anyways.
So keep on chugging, SMWCentral. Don't ever change. Except when necessary.

Well, although I've never really seen you around the forums too much, you seem like a really nice user and it's a shame to see you go. I might LP your hack once I get a good quality microphone, so....
I remember you, I remembered you a few times too despite your absence here. I guess I'll continue to remember you from now on as well, despite your imminent absence. Thank you sir for your fine hack, leaving us a nice successful piece of SMW hacking history.
Goodbye SMWCentralite, though we haven't really spoken to each other I really do wish you the best in your slumber. HOWEVER, you have at least one week left, not many people get the chance to know when they die. Take advantage of this in the most positive ways you can and hopefully you'll have one last impression in the world before things go dark.
Now go on and live the rest of your life in the best way possible, you deserve it for being a kind user here and most likely a nice person in real life.
-------------------- I wonder what a HFD opcode would do in ASM...
Never talked to you this whole time, but yeah, this is a sad fact, and a sad fate. Yes, if anyone could, we'd keep you and any other friend alive forever.
Notte Luminosa was fun. Before you go, at least, you know you've made people happy.
I've never seen you before, but you seem to be a good person overall. I... I don't know how I can react. I have no idea how you're feeling, but keep in mind some people will never forget you.
Wow... I don't know if you remember me, but I remember you and playtesting Notte Luminosa a few years ago.. that's beside the point right now..
This is some really devastating news. I'm really sorry to hear that you're not getting better and I don't know what I'd even feel if I were you.. you seem to be handling it okay, so, I hope you spend your time doing things that are important to you and make you happy until it's over. It should be comforting to know that you got things accomplished in your time here and we all have something to remember you by. You'll be sorely missed.
Well... I don't know what to say. Other than this: spend your last days with the people you love. And remember that you will never be forgotten, by any of us. If there is another life, I hope we meet again. Goodbye, man. We'll miss you. =<
I didn't know what to say here, but I just couldn't see someone leaving without my sincere caring farewell (although I don't know you, you do care for this community, so I had to say something at least). I really hope you enjoy these last weeks and may you rest in peace...
Wow, I was on the irc for about 5 minutes last night before work and I saw you there but I didn't have time to really see what was going on. That's terrible, my family lost a friend because of Leukemia. I can't say I talked to you much nor do I remember if our encounters were good or bad in the past but I definitely remember you. I hope you live the rest of your life to its fullest, family, friends, all that. Goodbye and good luck.
-------------------- I think a post layout goes here somewhere...
This is terrible news but rest assured many people will remember you. I don't think I've ever seen something like this on SMWC so I was a little confused as to how to react.
Regardless, I hope you enjoy your final days to the fullest. Make sure you do everything you wanted and go out with a smile!
Just wanted you to know: I remember you, and recall thinking quite often "hey, whatever happened to Yanama?"
There isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said. Good luck, whatever that may mean to you, and I wish for you to be mentally prepared when the time comes.
Christ. This is a shock to hear. Such horrible things happen. And you're one of the unlucky persons to get it. As much as I, no, we all would want to help you upon reading this, it's too sad nothing can be done. A battle you simply cannot win. It's just outrageous to hear that someone's life is stolen from them, without them having done anything wrong. It's unfair. Words cannot describe how sorry I feel for you, and I hope you'll enjoy those last days. Only now, I can imagine how valuable life is. Thanks for making me understand that. I hope you'll rest in peace, really. Best of luck to you, man. Know that many tears were shed for you.
