Edit: I've solved it. It had just pinged to me that the exit number can be anything; so I used #2. </thread> Level 001 exits to 025. 025 Secondary Exit #1 to 25 001 Secondary Entrance #025 001 Secondary Exit #25 to 1 025 Secondary Entrance #001 Video of problem. Picture of problem: ![]() |
Weird secondary exit problem. (SOLVED)

Basically, your "Layer 1,2 (FG,BG) Initial Position" setting is wrong. Open
(since it's a Secondary exit), find where your problem is (I assume that it's Level 1's?), then choose FG=C0 and BG=C0 as your setting.

Originally posted by HyperMario Basically, your "Layer 1,2 (FG,BG) Initial Position" setting is wrong. Open ![]() Aright. I went into Level 001 & changed that. It doesn't kill me now; instead it moved me to the next pipe. There is still a problem. It goes from 025 to 025. -Video. It isn't going from 025 back to 001 like I need it to. |

-Level 001: Exit to Level 025
-Level 025: Secondary Exit #025 to 001
-Level 001: Secondary Entrance #025
-Level 001: Secondary Exit #001 to 025
-Level 025: Secondary Entrance #001
Should be working (didn't know exactly, haven't tried it on emulator).

It probably should be working; but it doesn't. This goes against my understanding of Secondary Exits. |

Test. Understand the logic between that.
Originally posted by HyperMario Test. Understand the logic between that. Glitched up, bad ROM status, locked levels & 4,194,816 bytes. Did it have something to do with why my exits are returning & not passing through? |

The levels aren't locked, and the size is actually that big (due to patches and Lunar Expand).
It's actually my hack, only illustrating the usage of those secondary exits.

But it's a broken ROM & I already know how to use Secondary Exits; I just want to know why it's responding differently this time. |

If the problem is solved, then there's no need to go further.
Also, if you mean about my patch, it's because of the secondary exits.
