Cool screens there! I like the idea of a Forest Fortress.

Maybe if you darken the castle's BG palette a little, it'll be better because, right now, it looks a bit foreground-ish...

After you beat the final stage and fight a boss to the throne it wond end yetmario goes at the top of the castle! Dont know what port to use the way were mario goes at zhe top ... Suggestions welcome and not an overused port.

And when he reaches the top the final battle!
Still i need some other levels to finish.

This level has some normal sprites (as always),hammer bros as main enemy's! It's shorter 300 seconds has the level.

First two level of the LAST world are 300 seconds. Anyway I hope I can release this hack in C3!!!If everything goes as I planned,finishing some unfinished levels main goal then title screen!

I'm also digging Mario's GFX.

(Edit: Level up! A Kaboomba? Those were enemies I never really cared about. They were not too hard to avoid either, but shoting cannons is still kinda cool. Being a custom sprite in SMW, they were a bit harder than in YI, also because only spin jumps can kill them.)

Yup, liking those screens. I really like the GFX you used.

The only thing, imo, it's that gray spiny you mentioned:



It looks a little....weird, maybe because of the palette. I suggest to change its palette (that orange wing), or maybe using another GFX for it.

I may try to change it, but it's a dry flying spiny, so how the heck other then grey would look a dry flying spiny?

What you need to do is make the wing skeletal like and seperate the conjuntions or limbs it has, like the spikes, the shell, and the legs. Do not forget to make a skull for it (animal skulls are NOT like a human skull). You will have to make your own GFX for this, but dry should be REALLY easy.

Well drawing gfx is not my thing.... so I will leave it as it is now. Can't find other solution. Those custom sprites came with the graphics files.

Bowser's Castle level,the level before entering the last world! I have done first room,and a little bit of second room. Second room contains spiny shooter,dry bones and bombs.

I used the hypermarios bowsers castle graphics altough there are some missing tiles,the grey like platform has not a dirt tile and a slope/ledge. But I used other tiles.

Nice work, I cannot see any major problems. If you want something to improve on, replace the clouds with something else since clouds look strange inside.
