I don't use YT so much, but eh, I don't see why they changed it. They should stick to one instead of keep working on other one because nobody liked it, and when they apply it everyone already was used to it.
I think they should either apply the new layouts as beta and ask for the users' oppinion or make the layout scheme optional to each user, just like were the site schemes on SMW Central.
To be completely honest, I quite like the changes this time. Especially the "information slides" below the videos, I think it's much better than it was before. Indeed the new layout is a bit too white, but I like the minimalistic style. Also, it will be a bit hard to get used to user avatars in the comments section. I don't mind if they keep it as it is now, though true, a few little fixes/additions would be definitely nice.
Don't they have "professional designers" or some shit? Seriously, the videos look freaking awful, there's too much crap everywhere; it's too distracting.
EDIT: also what, the title is BELOW the video? WHAT?!
Love the new design actually. The only fixes I think it needs are very easy to do with an extension for your browser of choice (like centering and removing the "guide" from the video page).
It'd be nice to see a video on why YouTube decided these changes were needed though. Or if Google just outright told them that they're not putting up with their refusal to make YouTube look like it was part of the Google redesign.

Apparently their web designers have the IQ of 10. And yeah, why did they do that with the title lol? Are they just trolling us? They better have the next design ready soon...
Got changed yesterday, god how horrible it is. I remember change the channel layout where you cannot change colors instead of lame bland gray looking channel. Here goes another month to adapt the new interface.

I don't mind it too much actually. At first I rolled my eyes since they seem to change the layout every 6 months, but explored and found it alright. What I really like is the playlist is listed beside the video now, instead of that stupid bar at the bottom of the screen that slowed down the computer once in a while.
But I do have 2 nit-picks.
1) The title of the video: Aren't titles supposed to be the first thing shown for anything? You wouldn't write on your resume and then put on the bottom of the page X's RESUME
2) The comments: I used to like jumping from page 1 to page 5,6,7,etc. not this [SHOW MORE] bar. Ugh.
I don't find the new layout too big of a pain but I have one big nitpick, cyphermur9t covered my others.
That big blank area to the right of the video play page and recommended videos, that just urks me. Why not have more recommended videos on that side at least or just make the player and comments section larger to cover more area?
Anyone know of if/where the more videos from this person button is btw? The one that you click and it shows 4 pages at the top of videos from the author's video you're watching? Maybe I'm just blind.
That "white space" is filled for me. It shows recommended channels.
Huh....maybe it's resolution? For me there's a giant white space beside everything and I can't seem to find a way to fix this on my side.
I'm not a big computer wiz.
Youtube got screwed over again. It just became harder to find videos from the same person. It also became more colorless and bland. I really hate this update. In fact, I made a video about it.
