Yeah, I think so too. I will play this hack if it is complete, so don't worry: I'll give some extra feedback of this project.

So, an update to HRV. The Title Screen has been updated finally, taking in Magi's advice, and I drew Hunter this time rather than Skewer doing the artwork (which was pretty good considering he never really drew Hunter before)

Aside from the fact the "Episode 4" has been omitted, the title font definitely looks much better this time around.

As for Hunter, I'm conflicted. I always assumed that with how this game follows after the events of The Crater, that Hunter would be serious-looking as he is in the first screenshot. But after having played through Hunter's Revenge 2 and watching a certain backstory cutscene, I can sort of understand why you might have opted to go with a more insane look.

I will not deny the shading in the second screenshot is a definite improvement.

There was a demo back in December 2014 during C3, but it has long since been removed. You'll just have to wait for the eventual release of the hack.

HRV - World 4B Castle



The gimmick is keeping a fire flower to make things easier for yourself, otherwise, you got more work to do.
The fire flower is needed to melt away blocks and get rid of enemies or clear paths that you normally wouldn't be able to go down or get rid of.

The hack is well under production, just have a lot of stuff that I want to keep secret, but showing off a little of it doesn't hurt every now and again. ^w^
As usual of your caliber (not so sure of your bro's though), I like the way you blend in ripped graphics with your own for a cohesive style.

The layout of the level is great but there can be better distinctions of what is solid and not, aside from the
feedback I have already given of your medium shown semi-privately.

Modern Redrawn Mario Bros. 1.4 (last update - October 2nd-22nd, 2022, was making more refinements to Small Mario Bros. forms I can't fully remember off the top of my head)

On Pixel Art Requests: I generally do not accept work unless I either have the time, if I see your project worth my time to contribute towards, and that is usually me doing the approaching to you on that.
-I also do not accept speculative work as I do have various art I made on-hand with me.
-I am more receptive to equivalent exchange of resources in which case, you can DM me wherever I have an active presence on for the details.
-Other times I'm availible for your project is C3 request threads I may run.

Change the damn lava in your background. The cave formation is fine but the lava is not because it flows too much like water from what im seeing. Lava does not flow so porously...so freely that (as that would be reserved for water). A fix would be to make the lava more static but have it "bubble" in places: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGn7zfRFUEc

Something like that is what I mean.

I have no complaints on the tileset though.

Just wanted to post some screenshots of more Hunter's Revenge ReVised. I'm pretty close to getting this all done. I took inspiration from TSRP2's Funhouse, and decided to use my pixel art skills to make my own version of said tile set.
This time it's a graphics show-off post. If anybody here remembers Boiler Room from TD4C#3: The Crater, then you'll recognize this. I went on and remade everything about that level. Foregrounda and Background have been redone, though I am not showing off the foreground until actual structure has been built. Lastly, one thing the original lacked was a Layer3!
