I've actually discussed with Kipernal about the possibilities of porting AddmusicK to SMAS while the current musics in the Music section remains compatible. It's actually very possible, but it's too early to do this at the moment. Too little data about SMAS music, and we don't even have a Lunar Magic-ish tool out yet.

So if the music data was documented it would be possible to port AddMusicK or any version of AddMusic as long as the creators are willing to port it then anyone can use existing SMW songs without a working editor. Sounds cool
In order to port AddmusicK to SMAS, we'd need the following:
- A complete disassembly of SMAS's music (not its music engine, just its music).
- A complete disassembly of its sound effects.
- Knowledge of where, on the SNES side, all SPC mirrors are interacted with (i.e. SMAS's equivalent to $1DF9 - $1DFC)
That's pretty much it. In fact, that's pretty much the process that would be required to port AddmusicK to any game.
Yeah, I've seen that already and I even have the source code of it from Pac. I'll use it once (Kipernal and) I start working on an Addmusic for SMAS. It won't be anytime soon though I can assure you that. I'm too busy with college these days, and not many people seem to be interested in SMAS hacking from what I have noticed.

I and probably a lot of other people would be more interested in SMAS hacking if there were an easier way to edit it. I mean, with no editor, we can't really do a whole lot. We can still document the game and make some patches, but it's troublesome to edit levels or add things like custom sprites.
Yeah, it makes sense. Let me rephrase my previous post then: nobody seems to be interested in helping out with documenting SMAS, so we can't make progress at all.
