A mean trap by Nintendo in NSMBU!

Link Thread Closed
I've seen a LOAD of Kaizo traps, but never before by Nintendo themselves. Look at this!

If you were to take too long, meteors would blow up the ground after the goal, and you'd fall in the lava.
I don't even know what I'm actually doing anymore... will I ever finish a hack?
Not really kaizo. it's your own fault for not going fast enough; plus that looks like a final world (haven't played the game), so it looks ok.

had it been the other way around (no path unless you use a p-switch, for example), then I guess that steps into unfair territory.
Been watching PkGam, I see?

When I saw that scene, I wondered if there were any fireballs coming down on that spot in the first place. Are you sure those blocks aren't just decoration? Any other sources than PkGam's speculation?

Moving this to Gaming (for fairly obvious reasons) and keeping the thread alive, even though it somehow strikes me that it is unneeded.

Also, I would guess the fireball generator ends right as soon as the player reaches the goal, no?

EDIT: Well, actually, this is unneeded indeed, considering we have a thread for discussion about the New Super Mario Bros. series and you could have simply posted about this possible "trap" in there instead. That being said, I'm closing this.
