Yeah, and again I'm starting this Project. Some people may remember my old thread, at that time, my Ports were really bad.
Again, like in the old thread, you're pleased to participate as I really wish some support! Just write which Tracks you want to do.
I know there are many Songs from which all are very long. But with Your Support and Feedback, it will be done soon!
One new important thing: If a Track, you ported, is already listed and you think yours is better, don't just show your one. Give constructive critism and try to help the author. To protect the artist, I'm not going to replace older version with your new one. If somebody claimed the Track, only his version will be listed (or he disclaims).
Pretty good, I like what you have done so far! They still have errors though:
Few Paths Forbidden: The bass is detuned, you have pitch 4e8 at the first note while in the original, the pitch is 550.
Powell: One channel loops early, making the song cutoff really bad at the end.
The Sacrifice Part II: You're missing the pitch modulation effect and also, you have sample 21 detuned at 0:59 for channels #2, #3, #4 and #5. Here's how you enable pitch modulation, in case you don't know how:
$f6 $2d $xx
Replace the $xx with the channels that have pitch modulation enabled. Uses the same format as the echo channels, you can't enable it on channel #0 though.
$fa $00 $xx
$xx follows the same format as above.
So yeah, keep it up, you're doing an awesome work so far, I hope you look at the pitch in spc700 player next time though.
Should be worth mentioning that such operation will result in a global change in the whole hack (that's why it's called master volume), unless you're going to modify it manually at the start of each song. Usually not reccomended, but you can do whatever. Though note that any port submitted containing such trickery will be removed on sight. I just wanted to get that straight.
If you plan on submitting any of these, you're going to have to figure out the correct volume values yourself, I'm afraid. Just a reminder. (formula is YY*ZZ/7F where YY is the volume value in SPC700 Player and ZZ is the master volume level of the song; if it uses surround just use the non-surround equivalent)
Good job on that, sounds exactly like the original, just one thing though, at 1:17 you're missing notes for the string channel, seems like tinymm didn't exported them. I know it's tedious but you might want to transfer the whole song manually to a txt so it's safe you're not missing short notes.
Sounds pretty awesome! Don't have the original spc, so comparing with YouTube, this sounds pretty spot on! Keep it up.

I will use addmusik K when it's acepted to the site. That's why I am not using it for now.
Do addmusic K ports then! They sound even better!
Havent used the AMK version yet but when it's accepted to the site I will use it and learn it to use!
Yeah, I have been using AMM for all the time, although It was REALLY buggy. But now, with AMK, we have an (bugless? Didn't found some so far) Addmusic that can even makes Porting easier with more possibilities.
I'm working on The Sacrifice, Part III, if someone wants to know. This is my latest SPC (I'm still working on Channel 1 ).
Just another question. Since you are making these songs using Brrs, do you think they will be compatible with AddmusicM? Your Ancient Dolphin sounds VERY accurate to the actual one.
And before anyone tells me, I know he's making them for addmusicK, I just wish to know if they are compatible...
Hm... why you don't start using AddmusicK?
AddmusicM has no advantage in comparison to AddmusicK. I would suggest you using AMK, but if you wish to have Ancient Dolphin for AMM, sure I can convert it back to AddmusicM. Also thanks!
AddmusicK is still in heavy beta stages from what I've seen. When it is used, for some reason, you can only use it once and that is it. If you wish to insert more music, you'll need to transfer, if not done in a certain order, it can skewer up some things, goal music is inconfigurable (to fix, replace goal.txt with something else), plus a lot of other bugs are still quite present (my brother has probably already said something about them considering he's using it). I don't like to use anything unless it is solid, and right now, AddmusicM is pretty solid for me. AddmusicK just kind of scares me right now.
And about that thing for Ancient Dolphin, yeah, I would love an AMM port! That song sounds absolutely epic!
I'd love to use it in my hack!
