Submissions should be posted in this thread. Make sure to put at the very top of your post:"My submission"(without quotes) with a link to your youtube upload, (or what ever upload) of it, so that we know. Other wise, unless your lucky, you might be missed.
If you wanna use a zmv file, and record from your Zsnes, make sure to post, "My Submission: In file bin" (without quotes), and name the file in your file been: "Speed-run submission". so that we know. If for some reson, none of these will work for you, you can ask me about any other solution, before taking action.
The problem is "any video game you want" is much too vague. If I entered the contest and asked for Pulseman for the Genesis, current prices on eBay suggest you have to pay between $40-200. And this is still pretty tame than something like a DKC competition cart, not to mention there's now a gamestop card thrown in. Either you're a millionaire, you own every video game ever made, or you don't really know the scope of your prize.
I live near Game Dude, which, for those of you who don't know, is a very special video game store, with just about.... EVERYTHING. It's pretty amazing. I should take pictures next time I go there to show you. But yeah, that's not a problem.

But that still doesn't solve the problems of money, so if someone asks for a valuable game like Earthbound or Little Samson then will you have the sufficient funds to buy it? (Earthbound sells around $150-500 depending on condition while Little Samson goes from $200-500 for the cart alone).

Dipalon, you're really persestant which isn't a bad thing, it's just not smart to have a persestant judge. Jobs like being a lawyer take persestancy, because you don't wanna be easy to let people constantly change your mind. But judges have to be flexible. It's not bad. It's just different. I'm sorry... Also, I've got a question. Do we get rated twice for doing the same level again, or is it only 1 rating per level? If it's only 1, then doing every level, no matter how fast, would be a waste of time since you would have to waste time to get a different exit in a level to unlock all the levels. Sorry if this has been asked already.
