(Incomplete) Glint Meteor

I showed this video earlier in the general thread, but it got buried quickly. I figured I'd start a thread for it, especially since I'm going to be finishing the second half soon and putting up something to be tested.

Comments/suggestions are welcome.
It looks perfectly fine, the theme is present and used well as far as I can tell and the level is presented in an interesting layout. A couple nitpicks:

This jump looks way too difficult.
Why does the Toad here say the same thing as the previous one? It's not very fitting for this case anyway.

Other than that, it looks great.

I know. I noted in an annotation on the video that I planned on fixing that because it was simply too ridiculous.

He doesn't - the last portion is different. I was going to make it a running gag throughout the level in that there would be a bunch of Toads who basically call you stupid for jumping off of cliffs. I'm not sure how I plan to continue it at this point though.

Thanks for the comments!

Oh. Marbles, potatoes, pretty similar if you think about it #ab{:P}

Anyway, will we be getting a demo of this soon? It looks like one of the more fun "entries" so far.
Other than having to reset the starting point (which was addressed) and some glitch that occurred that probably won't happen regularly, this level is fairly solid. It's basically what I want "Crystal Islands" to be: introduces a new gimmick in SMBX and then exploits it ala DKC style. My only gripe is the surprise difficulty curve at the end, but you mentioned it in your video so I won't hold it against you. That and I think a couple enemies were annoyingly placed (bouncing slimes on an upwards slope, a parakoopa floating between a tight passage with spikes).

The level looks great, and the music fits perfectly (I'm assuming you made it yourself?). It reminds me a bit of this track from Super Mario 64.
