This level feels very unbalanced, mainly because the level doesn't seem to know if it wants to be an easy beginner's level or a moderately difficult level. Most yoshi coins are easy to find, but one of the first ones is found by a hidden vine block with no indication other than the fact it's on terrain a bit higher than the ground. There's a lot of basic enemies but there's also points where there's a lot of unkillable enemies unless you have the fire flower. The level itself is fairly short but most of the level is a line-guided platform with Mario dealing with three homing paratroopas (those exist in smbx apparently >_>). Not to mention at the end there's a suprise Banzai Bill with no cannon. That wasn't cool. The concept of an SMW level is nice and would definitely help tie in this project to smwc, but the level needs a lot of redesigning to get a solid idea of what it wants to be.
As for the visuals and music, they're pretty standard for an smbx level. I don't really mind them, though some people might be turned off by the...mario-ness I guess since a lot of people like lots of custom things. It's not a problem for me though so keep it as is if you like it.
