Not bad at all, but I find the code/quote boxes' border a bit weird-looking for a layout. I'm sure it fits with the game, and hey in the signature box it looks very nice, but in the main post box it looks a bit off, specially since the post box doesn't have a very well defined border (which is not a problem by the way). The line/gradient background for the code boxes look a bit weird IMO.
8/10 though, most of it is very well made.
First time I have a layout in like forever, well, first one where I actually felt like it was good enough to even be worth trying to use it. I'm trying something out here (mainly floating image on the right). I've had to do some weird fixes in order for it to work properly though, and spoilers are going to be weird in some instances no matter what.
I could remove it, which I might do later, but then I'm afraid the layout would be a bit too simplistic. Link to nowhere.

Not gonna lie, that side image, while fitting well, looks weird as it is placed now. I suppose it's the fact that it's in the top right corner when the post exceeds a defined height. Anyway, I recommend you to use a justified text for the post. At least it will look a bit better in the case I described.
Concerning the quote and code boxes, they are pretty plain but there's nothing wrong with that. The small crests are nice but as with the side image, it looks strange when they float in the corner. It looks like they're part of the post flow, and that bothers me.
The footer itself is pretty boring. Maybe you should change its background color to something else to distinguish it better from the main post. Or better, replicate the copper-colored part of the customs officer's cabin.
Speaking of colors... a pure black background with pure white text doesn't look very fitting for Papers Please. Again, I suggest looking for color combinations present in the actual game (like the passport's colors, or the VISA's).
I'm honestly disappointed. I suppose you haven't coded layouts for a while and understand if you're having a hard time getting into this again, but I would've expected better from you. I've seen what fantastic stuff you can make usually. Don't give up and rise again !
5/10 because of the floating images effort.
This latest layout of mine is called Flat Munchers. It's supposed to feel very modern and... that's all.
The only thing for it to completely satisfy me would be to fix the links so that they can go in front of everything... but I don't know how to do that sadly.
Also, you should hover these side links !
Your layout is probably one of the most gorgeous layouts I've ever seen (your layouts are on par with leod's). The color choices are very nice, its clean and easy to read, the font was well chose, the background scrolling looks very smooth, and the side links are very nicely animated!
My only complaint is that the code box looks kinda boring.
Except the quote and code boxes don't seem to fit. I think the font above the quote box is too fancy unlike the rest of the layout. Font above code box is alright I guess. Also I think, the pink should've been changed to like, blue? Because the pink looks out of place. Nothing really much to comment on lol.

This is a spoiler. I see you've hovered over it. Which means... made you look!
Here goes my 3-in-1 layout again! Comment on the <hr> and spoilers too since I'm looking for some opinions about it!
Not really fond of the colors, but I guess they match the side image. Speaking of the side image, I think it should be resized to be a lot smaller than it currently is-- it's huge, and it makes a big blank space below the post box in short posts like this one.
Other than that, it's really simple and there's not much to say about it.
I like the colors of the links though. And let's be honest she has a nice figure.
wait you said decoy's layout is a solid color, its a noise img bro smh now i rate 0/10 tbh fam

I love this layout!! The color combinations are very good and it doesn't distract or is really flashy. I like clean layouts. The fixed background is surprisingly not distracting and it's one of the few uses of it where it actually looks cool
erik changes his layout TAS in 2 days
This is all so clean and gorgeous. There's absolutely nothing wrong in here, except for the fact that there are very small margins for the whole thing (but lots of other layouts have it and it's barely noticeable so I can't even really complain).
Still haven't fixed these damn links' z-index
I chose the colors so that everything that's from the post is white, and everything coming from others is red.
Not bad. Pleasant to look at, not difficult to read, and I like the GRAND DAD in the side image there. My only gripe is that the white borders on the quote and code boxes, as well as none of the corners being rounded, but its good overall!
Call me Ishmael. Some years ago, never mind how long precisely, having little or no money in my purse, and nothing to interest me on shore, I though I would sail around a little, and see the watery part of the world.
^ 7/10 - It's good and all, but I feel like you needed an actual visible text box, something like your code and quote boxes, but smaller. The current text box is too large and has lots of blank space! Maybe if you could shrink it a little, it'd be a straight 10/10, but that's just me.
Mine is simple, but I'm curious to see what you guys have to say about it.
