It's currently 11:43pm, and in a few hours, I'll be going to Hawaii!
My father, who is a Middle school teacher, takes his class, at the end of every year, to some sort of awesome field trip! Last year, it was Hawaii as well, and before that it was Sandiago, and before that, Florida, ect. I'm not gonna get to into what he does too much, but I might as well throw out there that he teaches at Millikan Middle School. (I'm in 9th grade, but I get to come since I'm not 18 yet, I'm 15.^^)
What island will you guys be visiting? I live on Oahu.
It's not very interesting to me, because I've lived here all my life.
Although I am the same age as you, I don't have intentions to meet you as I don't know you very well at all. A user a while ago by the name of Captain Pissweak came to Hawaii a while back, and I wanted to meet him, but I didn't have as much freedom back then as I do now.
Even though it's pretty much just a state, have fun there!
Are you planning on going to the Hawaiian beaches?
If you are, it definitely sounds like it's worth going there instead of the similar beaches in your own state.

However, Qwholl, if you would be willing to turn this thread into a general "Vacation / Trip Thread", I would be willing to keep it open. You could still talk about your trip to Hawaii while letting others talk about any trips they have coming up (seeing how many people are finishing up their school year at the moment).
So consider this a general vacation thread from the next post on.
Funny story, when my grandfather was bodysurfing there, a long time ago, he broke his neck. Now, whenever he has to look at something not in his field of view, he has to turn around .
But aside from that sad story, Hawaii sounds like a wonderful place.

I'm busy IRL. I'll come back someday, but until then, I'm taking a break.
So I recently got back from Mexico. It was a real blast. We got to visit a few real Mayan villages. We got to zip-line twice, climb a Mayan pyramid, eat Mayan food (which is great) we descended a cliff with a rope, we explored some caves. The next day we went snorkeling on the second largest reef in the world and saw some awesome stuff.
Not to mention the fact that we got vip bands and a private pool bar and other awesome stuff and oh man. We also got to see some mayan ceremonies; a rain dance and a bonfire thing for the sun god. Both were really cool.
So yeah. I think we did other stuff but I forget.
edit: I miss free open bars and every meal being a buffet. ):
