This is a repaired version of my hack, "MarioJC"; which had glitched graphics.
This includes:
-4 new koopalings (the others will be ready the next version),
-Custom blocks
-The most important (for me), a minigame!





Normally I will not moderate a hack that is primarily written in a different language (screenshots and description didn't show any traces of such). But since I committed to this one a little "too late", I'll stick with it.

Main Reasons: Take care of these issues and the hack will likely be accepted by me.
1.) These levels just aren't cutting the mustard at all. They're mostly underdeveloped, dry and repetitive excursions. Nothing ever really feels all that fleshed out and the whole hack- or rather what I've played of it, comes off as an uninspired mess.


2.) The music breaks anytime the BGM is the SMW Cave music (all of the music is vanilla, by the way) which is a side effect of using Addmusic 4 (AM4). A very simple fix to this would be to download and insert the cave music available on the Music section of the site and just assign that song to every level

Well, either that or port everything over to a ROM that was never touched by AM4.



3.) Normally I would consider unappealing overworlds to be a "secondary" reason, but the excess "lines" (not to mention missing ones) all over the dirt tiles to the point that they can't be ignored or forgiven.



4.) Avoid using colors 19-1B (Palette row 1, colors 9-B) in levels that also contain message boxes. Either that or use better colors than these.


5.) Bad sprite memory. Memory setting 0E typically will do the trick (Lakitu icon) if you don't have the No Sprite Tile Limits patch applied (where 10 will also do it).


6.) You're too kind with these constant 1ups and there has to be at least 30 of these. (These coins are worth 10, for those wondering.)


7.) Not exactly a good spot for this checkpoint either.

Secondary Reasons: Not necessary for them to be fixed for an acception, but these are things you should seriously take into heavy consideration.

1.) This bonus game is far too generous thanks to the amount of time it gives you to do rack up an insane amount of lives. Seriously lower the time limit in this.


2.) Disable layer priority on the tiles that's obsuring Mario's head.


3.) Not sure if this is an intentional design choice, but Albatoss' beak and talons are green.
The bomb he drops needs to have the same palette as when it is being held. Edit the bomb sprite's CFG file with Tweaker.


4.) Miscolored platforms and flame.


5.) What the heck is going on here!?


6.) Where is this key supposed to be used?



7.) Well this is a very awkward transition. Why is the Chuck room even there?

Supplementary Reasons: Consider these "in-between" reasons.

1.) Generic consider using directional hurt blocks if your graphics aren't going to match the properties of the block. By the way, why are these spikes kill blocks?


2.) This is a terrible spot for the checkpoint. Either before this wall-run or after it will do.


3.) This Albatoss idiotically blows itself up.


4.) Invisible wall (I know that if Mario isn't blocked off with these types of pipes, hilarity ensues), but just make it visible. Also you're too generous with the lives- they're in plain sight when Mario is shot out of the pipe.


5.) Miscolored enemies.
Here's what I would do myself:

For the layer priority ledge, make different Map16 tiles with the priority disabled and use those for when the ledges can be accessed from below.

For the misplaced checkpoint, place it below and right of the pipe so that you'll get it if you just keep running forward and off the pipe.

For the Chuck room, just put the exit pipe on the other side (unless it's a miniboss?), it personally doesn't bother me. Additionally, change it so it's entered by a pipe.

I think you are missing a screenshot here.
I see you are very strict in accepting hacks. But, if I correct these mistakes, the hack will be accepted? If so, I have no problems to upload a new version.
