If you want to make a dramatic leaving post, please do so in a forum where you will get more of the attention you clearly need. This thread is strictly for people who want to leave without causing a scene.
2. Do NOT mention the name of ANY users in your post!
Sorry, but mentioning people's names might spark some kind of drama. Say goodbye to your friends in PMs; this thread is literally just to let people in general know that you have left.
3. If you make a post here and log back into the site, you will be banned!
Dude, this thread is for leaving. If you make a post here and then have the smartassery to come back to SMW Central, your account will be nuked. The people who post here to say they are leaving are actually leaving!
4. No essay-length posts!
Your post cannot exceed 200 characters. People who take too long to leave will have their posts removed, and their layout will be nuked as punishment.
5. Do not make short, pointless posts!
Even on your way out, you should follow the site rules on posting. Posts that are under 200 characters will be deleted for excessive shortness.
6. Do NOT explicitly say you are leaving!
You're leaving. We get it, which is why you're here. Anyone who too blatantly says they are leaving will have their passwords reset to something as long as however many characters their posts contained.
7. Don't be vague!
Posting too vaguely is never a good idea. Try to tell us why you are posting here (without explicitly saying you are leaving, of course).
8. Finally, be yourself!
Don't be afraid to be yourself even on your way out the door. Even while leaving, we can tell if you are pretending to be someone or something you are not, and posts that are too fake will lead to the staff stalking you via your IP Address to find out who you really are.
