^, even before I played Earthbound, that was always "Ness's Bat." In a more general sense, I'm really enjoying the little touches that they're throwing into this game, not to mention the fact that the game looks faster than Brawl.
One of the things I'm concerned about at the moment is that the 3DS version might turn out to be SSBUlite. No matter how much I love Smash, I'm not willing to buy a U at the moment. The details I'm hearing about the experience points and stuff are worrying me.
Anyway, I expect Smash to make a showing at the Nintendo Direct tomorrow (2/13/2014). If Yarn Yoshi details come into play, I can bet we'll at least see Yoshi come back - I was betting on him coming back anyway. Speculation on newcomers that they might show?
The new characters so far have been very varied. This is definitely looking more and more like a day one purchase!
Is it just me, or does Little Mac seem like a Captain Falcon clone, judging by the screens? srsly the above shot even looks like a Falcon Punch
Whatever, I'll likely play as him once the game's out. I never manage Day 1 purchases though. Usually inactive/procrastinating on a hack idea.
Not at all really. You should watch a trailer for him if you haven't already. He's nothing like Captain Falcon.
Also holy crap he looks awesome to play as! Though I did want Little Mac in here he wasn't my first choice. After seeing his trailer and his gameplay I'm really glad he made it in.Guess I'm alive again...

The Smash series hasn't had true clones since Melee, though Brawl did have several near-clones. However, Sakurai has mentioned that he's focusing on paring down clones in this roster in order to have a variety of characters instead of several different archtypes (i.e. Fox/Falco/Wolf, Mario/Doc/Luigi). From the footage that we've gotten, Little Mac is definitely more focused on punches, though his uppercut and "mega-punch" definitely look similar to the Raptor Boost and Falcon Punch. In addition, he has a KO bar that powers him up, which is a far cry from Cap.
At this point in time, Little Mac is going to be my main alongside the new & improved Bowser.
Glad to see little Mac is in Smash Bros. :> It also means well get a kickass remix of the Punch Out Theme ^.^
I'm pretty much only going to be playing Wii Fit Trainer and Little Mac, why would I play anyone else? Can't be a Luigi main forever.
Also Diddy Kong, meh. Expected and unimpressive.
Wake me when there's a Mario game where World 2 isn't a desert.Let's milk Sunny Milk. Then she'll have enough money to fund Sunny Milk Real Estate.

Time to wake up.

Layout by LDA during C3.
Though I hardly use Diddy Kong I'm glad to see him return. They do need more people from the DK series so that's cool.Guess I'm alive again...
